Jay made his QVC debut last night and he was adorable. Surprisingly non-sarcastic, he was actually a little sweet when he mentioned how it took him years to get to that point and how proud he was of seeing his name on the label.
The clothes are pure Jay and we love them. We especially love the block coat, the washer sweater and the circular quilted vest. We can't look at these clothes and not think Jay.
There are still pieces available at QVC, so if you've got a hankering for some pure McCarroll, fire up your Visa card and head on over.
Checkerbox Topper Coat in berry and grey
Circle Embroidered Quilted Vest in fuchsia and turquoise
Cowl Neck Striped Tunic Sweater in black, berry and teal
Stretch Cotton Sateen Slim Leg Pants in black and burgundy
3/4 Sleeve Silk Blend Washer Detail Sweater in off-white, fuchsia and turquoise
Silk Printed Tunic with Solid Silk Belt in black

Yay Jay!!!! I love the checkered coat, especially in the fuchsia. But I need another piece of clothing like I need a hole in my head. But I wanna support the Jaybird... debate debate debate!
I want that first jacket =) It's gorgeous!
Hmmm... how do I justify spending the money we're saving for vacation on a Jay original? Must think of something!
Ah, Gorgeous things...
Buy it. I did.
I bought the grey.
Also love the fuschia vest. This is something I'd wear when walking the dog.
Sweater with washers: a bit of a look out here... or try on first (if one could). I think anyone with a belly or wide hips will have the design conveniently showcasing those areas as that's where the washers fall.
But the little silk tunic --yes, I think this is something most could wear.
And don't forget, Jay has t-shirts, and bags on his own site for sale.
oh i've been waiting for this! i'm not so into the t-shirts on his site, but have been waiting for some of his amazing knits to hit the market. i got the cowl neck sweater in black, and also couldn't resist the circle vest in blue. can't wait for them to arrive! he also said he'll have some new pieces up on his site this fall, so will save pennies for that. love jay!
Hey, guys, I bought Jay's Checkerbox Topper Coat in grey last night! Squeeeee! I can't wait for it to arrive from QVC.
And being a good auntie, I also bought one for my PR obsessed 14-year old niece as a little back-to-school pressy. She looooves the Jaybird as much as I do.
How cute did Jay look last night? Love him to death! His merch was far more fab than any of the other designers showcased last night.

I think Jay must have shifted a lot of coats!

PS - Boys, I think you've got a typo. "We can't look at these clothes and think Jay."
SHIT! I wanted that berry check coat, but I forgot all about this, and QVC is sold out in my size.
Might it be for sale anywhere else? Or will QVC be getting anymore?

I bought the topper coat in Berry! I am *so* excited because 1) it's gorgeous and 2) Jay got me to branch out in my outerwear colors. Thanks, Jay!
They're all so lovely. I love that vest too! And the silk circled top. And I'm so surprised how cheap it all is. YAY! I hope there's still some left.
How odd that jay's aesthetic would translate to QVC demographics, who to thought? I like all of them, except pants and cowl neck sweater (who does that flatter?). Especially the vest, very youth-y, and the checkerd coat will give you good layering ideas. I can't wait for him to expand and do men's wear and more young folk stuff...I can see him making clothes for the masses (means 'affordable'), something like american apperrell!!
I bought the "washer" sweater in white. So thrilled! Can't wait for it to get here. Want more, Jay! How about a nice casual hoodie?
love the coat!! wish it was available in the colors he sent it down the runway.
love to jay and congrats!!
Jay is awesome. I'm definitely buying that coat.
Love love love the silk shirt. Sitting across the deep water I just can dream ...
Jay if you are reading this, fantastic collection, good luck .
Wahh! I love the design of these, but the colors would not look so good with my coloring...*sadface*
If only the topper was in the runway colors...
Um, I love Jay...and I love that checkered coat like everyone else...but the rest of the clothes look like I could have bought them in JC Penney's ten years ago.
Cheap, and ugly!
