Tim Gunn with Mary Alice Stephenson, fashion editor at Harper's Bazaar and co-host of America's Most Smartest Model, at Catherine Malandrino's show, which by the way, was gorgeous. We'll talk about it later.
The fabulous Amanda modeling for Nicole Romano.
And finally...us.
We went to Beige last night with Emmett for a Project Runway party and chatted with Kevin (who made a point of introducing his girlfriend, for which we don't blame him since we were in a gay bar after all), Kit (who was a sweetheart and had a killer Betsey Johnson bag), Stephen (who was adorably shy but we don't blame him either since we basically announced to tens of thousands of people that we want to have sex with him), VictorYA (who admitted that she sometimes waits for her friends to tell her if it's safe to read us and who was THRILLED to hear that we gave her show a positive review - and Victorya if you're reading this, we're holding you to your promise to invite us to your next one), and Simone and Carmen (who were surrounded by friends and well-wishers and we didn't get a chance to introduce ourselves), and models Marcia and Lauren who were THRILLED to meet us. We have to say, both of those girls are GORGEOUS in person. Unfortunately, we don't have pics of any of them because Lorenzo was wearing jeans so tight you couldn't fit a stick of gum in the pockets and neither of us wanted to walk around a gay bar carrying a camera because we're both far too hot to be doing that sort of thing.

And later this morning, we're heading off to see Malan's runway show, which promises to be (but of course) fabulous.
Pictures later, darlings! Ciao!

Heeheeeheee....right on.
(Snaps for Lorenzo...with a side of swivel-neck) :)
Love the inside scoop...tell us more about Emmett...love that TALL drink of water.
p.s. Malandrino's collection was WOW...saw it on NYmag.
Thanks Tlo!
Green is going to be a very popular color around here, boys. Sounds fabulous. Hmmm. Being in Manhattan the week of the PR finale doesn't sound like a coincidence. You bitches are going to the PR show! The green quotient just skyrocketed.
Well, while you might make nice with the inner sanctum, we on the outside will continue to hone our inner bitch... just for this blog.
Ooooo, did you go to Catherine's show?
More dish! We want more dish.
Are you girls going to watch Wednesday's PR episode chez Laura?
BTW, Victorya's collection (and others) is reviewed by PR-fan Robin Givhan in this morning's Washington Post ("Hard Times, For Fall - In a Bleak Economy, New York Designs Are, Well, Depressing") She mentions seeing Princess Puffysleeves!

Where was Ferosh, Sexy Ass, Strong Island and Hippy Dippy???!!!
Translation: Christian, Rami, Jillian and Sweet P?
Seriously, you two should have some sort of contest with the prize being:
The winner gets to tag along with you to one of these fabulous events and be your camera bitch.
I like Lynette's idea!
Have a great time and don't forget to give us details!
Don't u dare call Amanda is bitcHHHHHH , she is gonna cry and faint AGAIN on catwalk!
XD
Woo hoo!! 2 more days!!
please please please don't let it snow and don't let Jet Blue have one of their famous 24 hour delays!!
So glad you mentioned Malan Breton. I love his smile, and manner. His voice is so beautiful I would buy anything he sells.
I'd like to see him everywhere.
Green is definitely the color of the day! You lucky, lucky boys!
We want more dish!!
Whatever your day jobs are that allow you to do all this -- are they hiring? You guys have way too much fun.
Hey, no one mentioned our dear sweet Tim Gunn on the Daily Show. It appears that Jon Stewart is a Project Runway fan as well!! You can find the interview on the Daily Show website!!
www.thedailyshow.com
Needless to say, he did himself proud...
No one mentioned Tim Gunn on the Daily Show earlier this week. Jon Stewart is a big Project Runway fan! Our dear sweet Tim did himself proud!
You can catch the interview on the Daily Show website...

You fab bitches!
You're forgiven on the camera thing. I've seen Lorenzo in jeans and anything in his pockets would definitely ruin the gorgeous lines he creates in them.
Love Malan's use of The Umbrellas of Cherbourg for his show ad/invite. Is Deneuve going to model for him?
Wonderful fun for our favorite fabulous gay boys! Oh how I'd love to follow you with my camera and take all the photos you demand. I would, too.
Enjoy, dear boys
I was just going to rush on and say how happy-making Malan's invite was, but bill beat me to the mention!
As for the rest of the news, well, I'm just going to do my very best Princess imitation, stick my little nose in the air and say, "hmmph." So jealous. (But I still expect full reports.)
I hate you and I'm never going to read this blog again!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Seriously, TLo you deserve all the perks you get from creating this blog. I hope something really good comes from it. Like your own show!
Tim Gunn was on Jon Stewart the other night, and he was so fabulous. When he started talking about the constructs of society that produce a jejeune approach to the philosophy of fashion, or whatever uber-intelligent thing he said, I just wanted to go have a cup of tea with him.
So any news on him getting into a relationship with all his newfound fame and fortune?
Anne
Just snorted coffee onto my computer keyboard for umpteenth time reading TLo.
"RE: Unfortunately, we don't have pics of any of them because Lorenzo was wearing jeans so tight you couldn't fit a stick of gum in the pockets and neither of us wanted to walk around a gay bar carrying a camera because we're both far too hot to be doing that sort of thing."
hahahahahahha - but yes, you are FAR too hot for that!
Color me green with jealousy, too. But not an obnoxious green, mind you, probably something in an olive-to-sage range, I'm such a conservative about color....
I think Marcia, Jacqueline and Lea are the PR4 star models. I hope that Jacqueline doesn't have to go home because of VictorYA's loss. Are they using their models for the wrestling challenge, or the wrestlers? I couldn't tell - too bad there's so many episodes this season sans the PR models. boo!
Dying to see your commentary on Malandrino's collection - her stuff is so beautiful!
That's awesome! What an amazing experience, I'm sure :)
Since it's going to be something like 80 degrees here today, I've settled on a summery frock in a lovely shade of celadon ...I think it suits my complexion and reflects my mood quite nicely.
So glad to hear that neither of you boys stoop to padding...not even with a camera!
Sign me up for the camera bitch position.
You two deserve every wonderful moment that you are getting. You've worked so hard and I'm thrilled that you are reaping the amazing rewards.
Now, here's the deal. We've lovingly and understandingly given you get a one-time pass for not taking pictures at an event. DON'T MAKE THAT MISTAKE AGAIN. Dig out the old fanny pack or whatever it takes.
Proud as punch and love you I do.
XOXOXO
Also can't wait to see Catharine's collection!
Heidi gave a nice interview on the Today Show:
Ooh, idea! Instead of having your own personal photog, why not take Alex! everywhere with you this week? Personal photographers are sooo last millenium. A personal cartoonist, though -- now that would be fashion-forward!
Great article in the Post, thanks for sharing it. I especially thought this was a good point:
"The combined impediments of stiff competition, market saturation, a devalued dollar and a bleak economy mean not only that it's difficult to entice shoppers into opening up their wallets, but that it's also significantly harder for designers even to get their merchandise into stores. Retailers have become more discerning about what they will hang on their racks.They are looking to be moved, to be excited. Luxury continues to sell. Uniqueness is an advantage. But ultimately, when the economy turns sour, "emotion" -- that wholly illogical, inexplicable motivator -- makes the sale."
So true. In fact, I think it was Gunn himself who said that at Liz Claiborne, they'd be reducing the number of lines. And I've noticed Michael Kors stuff is spread pretty thin as well.
Thanks for sharing that!
Hilarious!!
LMAO on Lorenzo's tight jeans!! Did Princess Puffy design them? (too bad they don't make the "razr" camera..dammit!).
Hey, can't wait to hear about Malan's show you lucky bitches!!! Everything's so exciting right now!
And...tonight's the night...yeow!
You bitches! How can you go catting around to all the cool parties without a camera! Hello?! This blog is our window on the fabulous. We live vicariously through you. We are expecting a full report.
From one of the forgotten little people.
agnes gooch, love it!
imagine the fun!
anonymous (3:34 a.m.) asked, "Where was Ferosh, Sexy Ass, Strong Island and Hippy Dippy???!!!
Getting ready for the runway show?
And adding, that Mary Alice is one classy dame! Love her style.
Oh, I hope that The Umbrellas of Cherbourg theme goes beyond just the ad to the show itself. It is one of the prettiest movies I've ever seen. When someone changed clothes, it had nothing to do with plot, they just needed to match the room they were in.
So excited now!
Yes, and don't forget la Llorona was also nowhere to be seen.
Translation: Ricky (the weeping woman).
Sorry Ricky, but I couldn't resist.
Somewhat OT - but from the 08 collections. How do the judges on Project Runway have the audacity to call Chris March's designs "costume"? Did they not see the Dior designs that came down the runway? Or the other couture collections??
Chris' work is much more wearable and sensible than those creations are!
Love the inside scoop...tell us more about Emmett...love that TALL drink of water.
Thanks Tlo!
What am I missing on the Malandrino collection? I usually agree with judgments I read here about the Project Runway designs, so I am surprised my opinion is so different than those here.
Check out the banter on http://fashionbanter.blogspot.com
sewing siren, I prefer to think of Ricky as The Sad Hatter.
Sewing siren said:"Seriously, TLo you deserve all the perks you get from creating this blog. I hope something really good comes from it. Like your own show!"
Ditto. And for putting up with all the insanity and being good referees!
Thanks and love.
I can't think of a better blog for Project Runway than this one!
TLO deserve all the plaudits Bravo can heap upon them.
I think that you should have a small entourage. Perhaps a wingman for camera, another for carrying the videocamera, one to carry your cellphones, someone to push people out of the way, one to toss your jackets to, and another who'll just stand back and say, "Yes, sir," whenever you ask for something.
Boys you need an entire posse of toadies, henchmen and lickspittles! Seems like we're all volunteering here! LOL!
Great idea about taking Alex! Though I was going to suggest that a codpiece, as a handy camera tote, would serve two purposes.
But lucky boys! (with or without the camera). You definitely deserve to be the toast of the town. I'm glad Bravo appreciates all you do for them.
Fabulous! You guys are so funny. And yeah, hot. Bitches.
cannot wait to see Malan's Umbrellas of Cherbourg themed show. Fabulous movie. And just waiting to have a Musical Monday made about it. (hint, hint)
Please have Chris March create a fabulous camera-holding accessory for you ASAP. Your reading faithful must have photos!
PS to Tom in KC, I am cracking up over "The Sad Hatter." Perfect.
If you gays need your own personal photographer, please call me and I will come a running (in heels).
I was shocked to see Victorya Hong featured on the front page of our Style section in the Washington Post this morning. Thanks to Desertwind for the URL.
I bought a NY Times to see if they might have some PR alums featured as well, but there was ZIPPO in today's NY Times. Has the Times had any good coverage of Fashion Week other days this week?
So is Ricky gonna get auf'd tonight?
Fabulous, boys! I can't wait to read the post about Malan's collection.
I'm so jealous!!! Bitches!!!
It's one of my favorite movies!
I'm so excited!!!
Oh my god...how did I miss that? I'm at Beige quite often with my fab homos! Lucky bitches!!
Love that VictorYA is afraid to read the blog. LOL.
aww TLO.
you deleted my spoiler comment.
whatevs, idk if it's right, i looked on wikipedia and that's what it said.
o btw.
i still love youuuu both!
hope fashion week is as amzing as it sounds!!!!!!!!!!
I saw those jeans, and he's right, you could not put so much as a credit card in the pocket. But he looked hotter than hot! And Tom and Emmett looked gorgeous too...
I won't be the spoiler; the winner is a shock and that's all I'll say. You'll love this episode!
Check out the preview - next week is a double elimination (WTF didn't they just have an episode LAST week???)
Interestingly, Sissybear is shown in the last shot smiling and wiping away a tear; is it because he had such a fun time competing or is it because he's going to show at Bryant Park?
Two Words: Walking Mannequins! That popped into my head when I saw the picture of Amanda.
Fabulous boys! I'm jealous!
Poodles! I am waiting with bated breath for your Malan runway report!!
XO
Madeline (of the newly straightened and banged hair) :)
I can't wait to see a report of this show because the pictures that are up on the Wire Image site are absolutely STUNNING!!
GORGEOUS!!!
