Darlings, we're media WHORES!
Hometown paper The Philadelphia Inquirer did the smart thing and gave us the profile we so richly deserve:
"T Lo, as they're collectively called, say they watch the show in their pajamas with wine and cheese and a couple of friends, on a vintage '60s daybed covered in brown velvet and a generous amount of pillows, in their cozy sloped-ceilinged third floor.
They are online about 16 hours a day. They watch each episode six times. The morning after a show, with impatient e-mails pouring in ("C'mon boys, wake up!"), Lorenzo approaches Tom for their Project Rungay staff meeting. They discuss. Map out blog strategy. And argue. "All day fights," says Tom.
"I give the fashion opinions," says Lorenzo.
"I'm just fabulous," says Tom."Truth be told, we're a little embarrassed by the attention, but we have to thank you, our

Fabulous article (& well deserved)!
And I love the photograph, with St. Tim watching over you, from the dashboard of your blogosphere.

Just Desserts!
Love the description of the viewing area!
We should all write in how and where we watch.
I'm on the sofa in the family room so my yelling won't wake up the family, on the phone with another fabulous fashionista.

You two deserve it - you keep us all so wonderfully entertained. I'm still giggling over Nina's comments yesterday.
HOLY SHIT!! That's so cool. I just opened the paper and saw it. It's HUGE in the printed version of the paper. Congrats, Boys! We love you!!!!
Knowing now how you work the blogging around your business, I feel much less guilty! I've always worried that you'll get fired from your jobs, but now -- it's OK!
Bring on the reunion episode!
Aw, that's great! Congratulations, TLo!
xo
At 59, I still do a lot of sewing--some with expensive, oh-so-fragile, clerical fabrics--so I really appreciate the absolute TOIL the PR contestants face. I am in awe of them....and of T LO for the funniest take on this reality program!! Thanks for the sideshow!

Ha! you're not media whores, you're the BEST. BLOG. EVER. I start my day with you guys. Cup of tea and the Rungay Boys. And the Nina stuff from yesterday? Awesome! :-D
What a thrill to see that you're based here in Philadelphia! Congratulations on the kudos in the Inky.
Well deserved! And we are your minions!
Oh, and another thing. I watch it with all four of my kids, three of which are boys! :-D They love it, but don't tell their friends. I spend most of the time shushing them for their "teenager-y" comments, and I have to watch it again the next day. And whenever Bravo repeats it.

I wanna be a minion!
And don't worry, you deserve your 15 minutes of limelight. None of think all that fun-to-read snarkery comes easy. We know you work at it.
Congratulations guys! I hope the exposure doesn't make the blog crash.
You probably have more straight male fans than you realize. My husband watches the show and reads you, but he'd never leave a comment. (Some of my comments are actually his.)
Congratulations on this well-deserved recognition!
fantastic, t lo! you guys spend 16 hours a day on this blog? that's insane! i'm definitely hitting the donate button come payday! thank you for all the laughter you bring every day.
-moira-
What a great article and congratulations on the well deserved recognition!
You are both fabulous, and I am proud to be one of your minions - er - supporters!
Congrats Tlo
well deserved.
Minions? Well atleast you didn't call us your flying monkeys...:p
Frank
Yay! Excellent read and a wee bit o'history on T.Lo.
You guys were muscleheads? And you met at the gym ("gay church")?
Yippee!! and Congratulations!
You both deserve it.
I love that you are in Philly!
It's very interesting to know a little more about you two as well. Where in South America are you from L?
PS I humbly accept the fact that I am a minion, but while I do occasionaly laugh out loud, I never use the term lol (hfump).
Congrats! nice article & its also nice to know just a wee bit more about you boys.
proud to be one of your minions!
I'm a very p[roud and happy minion! You guys so deserved the fabulous write up.
Lorenzo, you are from South America! that's awesome, me too! which country?
I loved the article about you two, I'm glad to know that you have your own business, I always wondered how you managed to do it.
Though I work overnights, I had to stay awake to watch the Project Runway feature on Regis this morning. I really do hope Jillian didn't design that black dress for herself; the back was hideous. She looked like she was wearing a lampshade.
And amazingly enough, Christian's hair wasn't as...hmph...over the top as we're accustomed to seeing.
hometown heroes!
that bobblehead Tim watching over the laptop has become the classic Beethoven watching over the piano.
sign of the times, bitches.
Congrats on the profile boys!
congrats, ducks! what a nice profile of my two favorite bloggers in the world!
i started reading both your blogs well before i ever started watching PR - y'all are the best best best!
thanks for all the hard work you do for us!
16 hours a day? Watching the episode 6 times?
I would be ashamed to ever post a "where's the next post?" comment again!
You guys may be the show's best marketing for future seasons, though... I know I started watching so I could understand what those hilarious Musical Mondays guys were talking about.
I read the article and FLEW over here to see what you thought about it. So glad you're getting the recognition you deserve. Another hometown minion happily bows your way.
Congrats and thank you! I finally got my husband to watch PR because of you. He won't admit that he actually likes the show. He says he watches it so he can better appreciate what you'll have to say about the episodes.
--Amy
Cool beans, indeed, gentlemen. We minions are going to run out of complimentary adjectives to shower upon youse.
I'm echoing Gotham Tomato in appreciating the photo, which so smartly displays one-quarter profiles.
The article attests to what several of us minions and/or afficionados (-das? for us dames?) have concluded, having had the privilege of meeting you in person: you are delightful, dee-lovely, and thoroughly fabulous.
All the best,
NDC
Much deserved praise you fabulous creatures!
I'm a little depressed that season 4 is almost over....the most booooring of them all.
Of course, I'm still watching....
Fabulous!!! And Lorenzo plays the violin too? So awesome! My sister played the cello for the NY Philharmonic.
Straight boy here. (Just writing that makes me sound like Kevin Christiana.) While I hope I'm not too confused-looking, my wife may undoubtedly disagree.
You watch each episode six times?! Yikes. That's dedication. No wonder you get such great screen caps.
Congratulations on a great profile. You go, TLo!
P.S. What's with the "round-faced" / "rectangular faced" descriptions? Was the author of that Inquirer article a preschool teacher? Is she "triangular faced"?
You two are awesome...'nuff said.
Nice! Especially since today is my birthday. Bravo, TLo! Raise up!
Wes
Cool! Good to see you guys are getting the recognition you deserve.
(p.s. Love the Boys II Men reference)
TD said: "What's with the "round-faced" / "rectangular faced" descriptions? Was the author of that Inquirer article a preschool teacher? Is she "triangular faced"?"
i know, right? the physical descriptions didn't seem to belong there. not relevant.
This is *fantastic*! All of it.
Everytime I see something on you boys I get so proud, one would think you are my kids... *giggle* <3 <3

I believe these are references to TLo's cartoon personae, which are charminingly round- and rectangular-headed!
C'mon, how could anyone not love TLo?! You guys deserve all the great press for your efforts. If there were an Oscar for blogs, you'd win!
Darlings, we're media WHORES!
You're just figuring this out?
We knew this already!
We're waiting for the reality TV show, and for you to start blogging Millionaire Matchmaker. Your snarkiness is much-needed there.
We simply MUST start refering to ourselves as 'Minionaires'.
--GothamTomato
Happy to be included as a minion! Congrats TLo!
My Tim Gunn doll is in my office and was broken by office services. They knocked him over and he just came clean off his little gray stand. So now he's propped against the wall. Poor Mini Tim....
I watch reclined on my comfy sofa, small dog at my feet, on my 50" TV. I DVR it and start watching on a short delay so that I can watch without the heinous commercials. And then I usually watch again over coffee Saturday morning.
I plan on a PR4 finale party with my 18 year-old heterosexual male nephew who, along with his 2 PR-devoted, younger male siblings (one of whom is gay), turned me on to PR in the first place.
And that's my whole story.
I couldn't be happier that you are creating fabulous success with this blog - MMMWAAAHHHH!
So pleased for you . . . and of the many minions I've been in my life, being one of yours has been the best.
- Donna
They discuss. Map out blog strategy. And argue. "All day fights," says Tom.
Know what else you deserve (besides all this attention)? Custom made WWE fight costumes. For Lorenzo, something Renaissance-y designed by Chris, and for Tom, an argyle look designed by Jillian.
I would like to have a t-shirt and a bumper sticker that say, "Loyal PRG Minion." Alex!, would you get right on that, please?
Fabulous!! Congrats, bitches! I've said this before and I'll say it again, the show would not be the same (and trust me, I LOVE the show)without you guys.
I'm glad you guys are getting the attention, but I am not so amused by this:
LOLOLOLOL. As their many commenters might say.
I'm sure commenters somewhere use that sort of meaningles net babble, but I haven't seen it here.
Cheers!!!
Tom: I'm just fabulous.
LOVE IT! heehee
Awesome and so well deserved! Now when do we get a PJ/camembert photo? ;)
what a nice surprise when I opened our hometown paper and saw the article. This is the 2nd time this season isn't it? and top story of the magazine section. Congrats.
the neighbors will hear said,
I am not so amused by this: LOLOLOLOL.
I know--I thought the same thing!

It was meant as a compliment; that they're stuff is LOL funny. Lighten up!
Congratulations, boys!!
Great interview/article. Made me LOL with your LOL comments.
I think, like Jay, we should have a song too:

Made this post on the wrong entry but guess I'll just leave it up there as not sure GT will still read this "old" (hee) entry:
Ok, trying this again.
Gotham Tomato, you inspired me this morning to make a small attempt at fashion design myself. I tried to post a link to the photo on here but it was too. dang. long and cut off so I just put it on my blog (believe me I'm not trying to direct traffic to my boring blog, just didn't know how else to get it posted on here).
So my fashion statement is dedicated to you G. Tomato. Hope you like pink.

I was so pleased to see the headline as I sat down for lunch at work! Well deserved.
I was so pleased to see the front page as I sat down to lunch. Well deserved!
I`ll accept minions, just not mindless minions, mkay?
Kzspot
We simply MUST start refering to ourselves as 'Minionaires'.
TLO's show could be called "Minionaire Matchmaker"
Love it. Though I recall very few "LOL"s from your loyal minions. We have too much style and panache to resort to silly little trite acronyms. Hmph.
congrats boys! you DO deserve the recognition. i start my mornings with PRG - helps me face the day with a little humor!
my kids (12-year old triplets - 2 boys/1 girl) are hooked - especially my boys! i don't share the blog with them -- a little too "mature", but they LOVE the show. i always record it so they can watch it thursdays after school & homework. i usually watch wed nite after everyone else (including hubby) goes to bed. a glass of wine and my big fake fur throw and i'm happening....
Congrats guys! What fun!
Thanks as always for your kind words about your faithful readers.
I watch comfy cozy tucked up on the livingroom sectioanl. My husband perches at the chaise end as if he's not really watching and could leave at any second. He always stays for the full hour. If we're watching in real time, my daughter and I always do an analysis call immediately after.
For many, Project Rungay (Projectrungay. blogspot.com) has become as much an obsession as the show itself
If not more of an obsession! You guys are the best. Even when you're wrong. ;-)
Great read! Hard top belive all of the effort and decication shown so that we all can share.
EW, Phillie's big rag? What's next?
Congratulations! Your blog is great, and I really enjoy it. I hope you become rich and famous, in addition to fabulous!
Adigal
Smooches to TLo! I ran across this blog in the beginning of it and have been a faithful reader ever since. I have a direct link on my link bar...:) Anyhow, I watch PR with my 17 year old son from my living room across the country from you in Grants Pass, OR.
Congratulations to the two biggest media whores I know. Thank you so much for your public service. You make so many people laugh. And that is truly the best medicine.
Thanks again,
Well deserved, you fabulous bitches, you!
Wait, not only are you from Philadelphia, but one of you used to live in MY neighborhood, Fairmount ! And to think I was one of those people who thought, "Well they MUST be from NYC." So proud and excited and I just ADORE you kids!!!! I'm also predicting an upset win from Jillian. I just think she has more range and will really excell without the time constraints. Would have loved to have seen Kit in the finals. Can't wait till tonight. Love you guys and thanks for raising the local fab rate.
Well deserved! You two are fantastic.
Bloody adorable article on the two adorable more rectangular/rounder/more stylish/darker twosome we love.
A from Australia
If you're online that much, how do you pay your bills?
Hooray for Philadelphia! I knew it was cool to live here...just didn't know why.
Amy
LOVE the article!
Congratulations TLo!!
So many people have commented that you brighten up their day-- well it's true!
PR just wouldn't be nearly as exciting without your snark!
proud to be your minion,
kjt
YAY!
You're both fabulous!!!
By the way, my fabulous fellow Philadephians, wouldn't a Chris costume totally kill at a Henri David Ball ? For those of you non-locals, Philly has an annual Halloween Ball which features incredible costumes (many painstakingly hand made), a runway show and at least 2 categories for queens. I love the New York parade but the Henri David Ball is THE BEST in my opinion.
Hey, you guys are definitely MORE of an obsession than PR. After all, I don't watch/check on PR 5 (or more) times a day, like I do Rungay. And it was so neat to learn a little more about you two. After reading faithfully ever since you began, I sort of feel I know your personalities, but the background was fun too. (A professional violinist, who wouldathunk?) Isn't it funny how your faithful readers really feel that they know you? Just keep it up, that's all I ask!!
Congratulations on the WELL-EARNED accolades!
If I could dance something wonderfully interpretive and fabulous, I would. Since I can't, I'll just whoop and holler and cheer you on.
Congrats!
Long overdue praise!
I don't often have much time to spend online, but yours is the ONLY blog I check DAILY. Congratulations! What's next, the New York Times???
Don't forget the little people!
:-)
We're not worthy! We're not worthy! :-) Congrats on your well-deserved notoriety, TLo.
You two had me with the long-ago Tim Gunn tribute. I was so enamored that instead of going out with the girlfriends, I stayed home that afternoon and backtracked all the way to the beginning.
This faithful minion thanks you for all the hard work you do for us and mostly, for you two being you!
My hubby works nights and the one son who used to watch with me is now away at college. So, it's usually just me and my neurotic chihuahua watching together. My favorite fabulous friend comes over once in a while to watch with me, but he and the dog hate each other.
PRG boys-
I have lurked on this blog for a season and a half and just have to say that I adore you!!!! And yesterday's Nina screen caps actually caused me to send in a donation!!
Luv ya - see ya on the other blog when PR4 is over!!
Auntie L
Dear TLo,
Many many congratulations on your well earned fame. You utterly deserve it!
I'm sitting here typing and retyping, trying to convey how much I enjoy and appreciate this blog, and I can't. Argh. Words fail me. I'm so grateful that words don't fail you, you brilliantly witty, insightful, and articulate twosome, you. Bless you both, and thank you so much for all the fun.
sincerely,
no burlap
p.s. the cats and I enjoy watching in the living room, ensconced on the blue and gold peacock-spangled futon couch (quite comfy), with some after-dinner snacks for me and a little catnip for them. They get their catnip beforehand, so they're nicely tired out by 9pm, just in time for the show. I wouldn't want to be interrupted by cranky cat demands.
I just finished reading this and got so excited for you guys. Way to go! The only time I've been in the inquirer is when some crack heads set my house on fire.
Loved the article in the Philly Inquirer. I didn't know you exsisted till I read the story. Now I'm a huge fan.
PhillyFan
Hey! I just thought of something.
How about this?
T-LO LO LO LO LO L?
Does that make it a little more palatable?
Hi boys!
Just wanna let you know I've been a fan of you fabulous queens since the beginning! You always brighten up my day and make me laugh so hard my stomach hurts!! Even though I don't watch this season of PR I still come back to this blog to see what you guys have to say. LOVE YOU BOYS SO MUCH! And am I the only one that misses Shear Genius??
CandyO--
see those ads?
that helps pays the bills.

Oh, honey. Trust us, the tiny revenue from those ads do very little to pay the bills.
I saw your write up in the Inky....cool. I like the show, but I wasn't aware of your blog 'till now.
It's a great blog. I hope the newfound attention you are sure to get doesn't crash the servers, hehe!
I'm so happy for you guys! When i picked up my paper this morning and saw the article, I started jumping up and down in excitement!
Keep up the bitchery!!!
You two are the best!!! I love this blog! Now I have to read the entire archive.
Aww, you boys rock! Off to read the article :)
Long-time reader (since the Miss Universe Pageant with Kayne's dress), first time poster. Congrats--as a (transplanted) string-playing Philly girl myself I could recognize another Philadelphian from miles away!!! There's no way with that snark you could be from New York!
Congratulations! Love the Boyz II Men shoutout too :)
Nice to know a little bit more about you guys. Great article, congrats!
Oh yes, love the Boyz II Men reference. Very clever!
