well now i've read it and tided up a bit. isn't he absolutely a doll? he is such an adult, but with a charming sense of humor and a self deprecation that's enchanting in such an accomplished and talented man.
and i have to agree, the world WOULD be less of a place without y'all.
AND i want to know WHO WHO WHO??? he wanted to tell, WHO THE HECK IS IT? and does the one he hates start with a V?

Somewhere, on top of the GayAcropolis, there is a fabulous temple with a huge statue of Tim Gunn surrounded by candles and fabric swatches...
...and of course the PRGayBoys are the High Priestesses, softly chanting "Make it work!" as we sacrifice fleurchons on the altar...
Understated, elegant, fabulous - now why aren't there more straight guys like Tim?!! When PR is over for the season and he has a little more time, I wonder if we could talk him into a weekly commentary on fashion, life, or anything he wants to talk about?
Had Tim Gunn been the dean of anything at the sorry ass school I went to, I'd be a hell of a lot more successful these days. I hope these young people know how lucky they are to have his wisdom and gaydance (that's guidance with a gay sensibility)!

So beautifully, simply put.
I always want to get in fundie homophobes faces and ask them, without gay people, who would cut their hair, style their clothes, design their homes and offices and shopping malls, serve their meals, write/direct/produce their sitcoms, films, plays and musicals, lead their religious services (maybe not the hardcore fundies, but the Catholics and Episcopalians and a lot of other churches)...and, specifically for for the ladies (although most of the above applies, too), counsel them in therapy, fix their cars, deliver their FedEx packages, run bookstores, staff whole foods marts, teach girl's phys ed, write and perform music and stand-up comedy?
Stereotypes? You bet. But imagine these things in a world without gay men and lesbians.

From hints he has dropped on his podcast, I would venture to say that the person's name starts with a Z rather than a V. In fact, he said he would take 100 V's over one Z.
He is SOOOOOOOOO much hotter than Andy Cooper over at CNN.

YES, me too!!! Sometimes it's fun to just read all kinds of things with Tim's voice in your head. Boring reports, or meeting minutes at work.....
Couldn't sleep last night and was watching Conan . . . when to my great surprise, he announced that Tim Gunn was a guest. This was a rerun from last Spring (before the current season began, I think). He was charming and funny, and he received a huge ovation from the audience. 'Twas a nice surprise for this insomniac.
Love the Gunn.
