I was there last year and Tim was so nice to everyone. Hopefully some of the designers will show up like they did last year.
I rarely miss NY, but now I'm sad to be 3.000 miles away.
What's up with the Treseme site? For 2 weeks in a row I made picks, but both weeks it said afterwards that I didn't make any. And now when I click on my leagues it acts like I'm not in this league. sniff.

I know, I know, it's hard to believe there's life outside your bustling city, but trust me, there is.
However, if I did live in NY, I would totally be there.
Damn!That TRESemme site would try the patience of a saint. I logged in but it was still calling me "Guest" in the upper right hand corner. Anyway I voted for Steve to win. Chris to be out. And Christian for hair. But I doubt it registered.
I would love to have some gay gift wrapping paper, but I cannot imagine what I would do with a Tim bobble head (gack).
i'm glad to hear that i'm not the only one struggling w/ the fantasy runway site. it's as if they made it so all-fired complicated that it won't function properly. i usually have time to feed my cat, brew a mug of tea, and check my mail before the site even loads.
brilliant concept, execution leaves much to be desired. huh--kind of like many of the garments we see on the show... ;)

Donny, I think our darlings TLo don't live in NYC either. I'd be there in a heartbeat, but the night before I'll be singing in a big Christmas concert, so I doubt I'll be up to a 4 hour drive from Boston the next morning.

Anyone who's going - here's what I'd do (since I can't be there I'll tell you!) I'd wear the most horrible outfit! Go out and buy one if you must. Then, I'd beg Tim for a makeover.

I go to New York twice yearly to see 2 or 3 Broadway show. The last time I was there (June '07 - Grey Gardens, Spring Awakening, Year of Magical Thinking) I:
1. Stepped over human feces on the stairs to the IRT platform;
2. Paid $22.50 for a Cuervo Margarita at The Village Vanguard and $54.00 for a pork chop in Little Italy;
3. Got groped by a drunk queen wearing 18 pounds of turquoise jewelry while listening to Vinnie from Staten Island crucify "I did It Myyyyyyyy Wayyyyyyy" at Don't Tell Mama's;
That was all the "Interesting" I could have wanted. For me, NY is fun in small doses ... could NEVER live there.

Fab event. It was great to be at one of Emmett's events last year. I might just go again.
Tried the Tresemme site from work and from home and couldn't get it to work. I have officially given up on playing fanatsy runway (or whatever the heck it's called) - at least until I try agian next week.

You guys are just not fair. Not only can I not make it home that weekend to meet Tim (and you two! ♥), but apparently I'm six months too young to play Fantasy Runway. (Wow, I feel even lamer admitting that.) It's good to know that others are having difficulty with the site, because then I don't feel like I'm missing out, haha.
The Tresemme site isn't event loading for me. It's all black with a small swirling circle of stars, but nothing else loads and nothing on the page is clickable. I looked for a "skip intro" button but there was none. I don't get it. The only text on the page was "Music on/off."
