For once, we were in total agreement with Mario: What a hot bitch.

Tim darling, we marvel at how you make clothes look good. Tom can't stand turtlenecks on men because he thinks they tend to desexualize them (Lorenzo isn't quite so judgmental) but darling, somehow you make them look devastatingly hot.

Sexual Harrassment, pure and simple. Tim, you don't have to take this. We know a lawyer.

GodDAMN, he looks hot there.

What we loved about this episode was that it was really the first time that Project Runway acknowledged Tim's obvious star power and he was adorably flustered by it.

And speaking of star power, Mo Ryan of the Chicago Tribune reports that Tim is getting his own series on Bravo called "Tim Gunn's Guide to Style." How flippin' FABULOUS! Kudos, Tim. To use your word, we are "thrilled" to see you gain even further recognition - and to see you away from the claws of that Teutonic hussy.

Is Tim going to be on the next PR season? Hearing how he's got a new show in the works makes me wonder if it's Bravo's way of pacifying the fans for not having Tim on PR because of scheduling issues. Tim is one busy man if he's working at Parsons, mentoring on PR, and starting a new show. If anyone can do it, he could!

Oh you guys are way to protective over your Timmy-kins! He's gonna spread his wings and soar! Oh it'll be fab.

No one deserves it more (well, Tim and you guys, too). He will be a smash. Hooray!

Great news! Congratulations, Tim!!

Tim does look hot in these pictures. He is my hero! I'm very happy for him, and I can't wait to watch the show.

I am "THRILLED" too!! Wonderful news, boys!

This was on Gawker today:

"Separately, the network signed Project Runway den daddy Tim Gunn and pop star-turned American Idol judge Paul Abdul to series of their own. Tim Gunn's Guide to Style will profile Gunn as he solves people's fashion dilemmas by helping them get makeovers. While it's still unresolved whether Gunn will return to Runway for its fourth season, his own show debuts as he is set to publish a book on style and taste in May, 2007."

I don't think I'd be interested in a Gunn-less Project Runway. If they were smart, they'd would do ANYTHING to keep him. But who knows, maybe he really doesn't like the direction offthe show either.

I believe he's doing both shows, GothamTomato, right boys?

It's interesting to look back at Season 1 and see how important he has become to the show.

I'm very happy for him, the new show and all that, but I'll be really disappointed if he's not doing Season 4.

"Still unresolved"...

I have been disappointed enough in PR of late that a Gunn-less PR would probably free up an hour every Wednesday.

I can't wait to see his book and show!!!

I loved Tim's hair in Season 1. And when I met him for the first time he was wearing that turtleneck (but without the leather) and he looked hot!

Mario's comment is my fav in all of S1 because it's so heartfelt, so true, and it's the first time TPTB admit that Tim is the best thing on their program.

I totally agree about the turtleneck.

I want pictures of a young Tim Gunn. I bet he was a fox way back when too.

At this very moment, I have a pic of Tim on my avatar (in a MB I go for years). It says "My dream (gay) man". He totally make me weak in the knees, he's so freaking hott. Since I'm not male, I just wish I could be his BBFAE, and cozy with him on the sofa, drinking whatever and talking about other people.... *sigh*

I'm beyong thrilled for him. He deserves everything life has to offer!!

The show should be "Tim & the Gayboys"..hehe.. That sounded like a early 60's band... hahaha!!!

As for Heidi, yeah, sue the bitch.

I LOVE that first picture. Tim looks so yummy! Congrats on the new show, Silver Fox!!

Big congrats to Prof. Gunn. One time I asked God for more people like Austin; I'm sure in God's infinite wisdom he knows I my request involves fellas like Prof. Gunn as well. Sayin'.

Ok, that's too much fabulosity for one day: Tim and Finn on PRG!! How fabulous is that? Great news!! I can't wait!!!

tim is divine and it couldn't happen to a better man. he's charming, humble, gorgeous, smart, articulate, sweet, talented, beautiful, gorgeous, sexy, hot. can't wait to see tim gunn on his own show.

okay, but this: can't stand turtlenecks on men because he thinks they tend to desexualize them ???????

whaaaaaaaaat? desexualizes them? are y'all thinking the turtle encasing fabric is on the neck of the "other" head? i've always loved turtlenecks on men, especially with black leather.

oh my. have to ponder this one. off to discuss with the husband, who's wearing a turtleneck even as i'm writing this. and it's on the neck below his top head. and he's sexy as hell. oh my.

Like the prgboys, I am "thrilled" to see Tim Gunn gain even further recognition. He deserves every minute of it!

I HATE the idea of "Tim Gunn's Guide to Style" for the simple reason that I expect it to put me in the poorhouse! Because I want to dress pretty much exactly like him. But then, I would have to lose a few thousand pounds, which means a whole new wardrobe anyways, right? Oh, dear. This is going to hurt.

OMG, I have my Tivo primed and ready! Between Tim and Isaac, I will be one happy lady!

I cannot imagine PR without Tim Gunn, so I hope he has signed up for both shows.

Tim Gunn is hot, sophisticated, loving, caring, smart, beautiful and HOT. Damn, that's a sexy picture! It is hard to believe that people don't just fall over on the street when he walks by. How has he managed to escape a relationship for this long?

I am thrilled about the new show. I will watch anything and every thing Tim does. I personally think removing Tim from PR would be the kiss of death for it, but Tim's life will never be the same. Onward and upward sexy man!

Vic said...

Be still my beating heart. Tim has his own show. My life is now complete. Who cares about Project Runway? I'm gonna sign up as a Tim groupie.

Well deserved! Tim, you're the best!!

I'm glad Tim's getting all these opportunities, but quite frankly, I don't know if can carry an entire show by himself. I hope the producers don't make him do stupid things. We'll see...

I want to be on the show and have Tim help me dress better. How about having the PRG boys as guests on the show? That would be awesome!!

Anonymous said...

Yes!! Thank you Mario for that comment/confession!! Tim is indeed a HOT BITCH!!

Turtlenecks are for staring into a pair of gorgeous blue eyes across a candlelit dinner table. Not "let me rip off your clothes" sexy, but " we can have a beautiful future together" sexy. Tim certainly fills that bill for me!

I'll have to see how they approach this type of show with Tim hosting. Part of his appeal on PR is his voice of reason among a room full of panic stricken artists. Are they going to listen to Tim or travel down a road to ruin? I hope the producers are smart enough for him.

GothamTomato quoted Gawker as saying:
""Separately, the network signed Project Runway den daddy Tim Gunn and pop star-turned American Idol judge Paul Abdul to series of their own..."

The first time I read that, my addled brain thought that they had been signed to do a show - TOGETHER! I was torn between Tim having to share the screen with her and the idea that he might make fun of her. I then realized, "Wait, what the...?" and realized that they had gotten their OWN shows.

Had to come see my man once more this morning, and this hit me:

Heidi as Teutonic hussy . . . and to see you away from the claws of that Teutonic hussy.

Could y'all be any more divine? I don't think so.

Tim looks so hot in that outfit, like he should be running through the dark, rainy streets of Paris with Audrey Hepburn while they are chased by KGB operatives...

...And although boob-infatuation leaves me puzzled, I must admit that Heidi makes me feel like Stewie Griffin going through breast-milk withdrawal...

I agree with this. The scrap heaps of TV history are littered with people who were fabulous second bananas, and because of that, left top shows only to do failed shows, then slid into obscurity.

We can only hope he'll be a Rhoda: Not a Phyliss.

Sorry, dahlings, that was me that deleted a poorly stated, ungrammatical comment.

What I really meant to say when I saw Tim in that turtleneck were these poetic words --

hubba, hubba, hubba.
