If Christian (and any other legitimate designer) is upset about Heidi or Posh being given their own lines, then hearing the announcement that Perez Hilton just launched his own line will make them want to put their heads in the oven.

Hmmm, Christian feels slighted by actors that think they can design clothing. You have to wonder how struggling actors feel about budding designers acting on television shows.
Couple that with the fact that Christain himself got a huge boost in front of his peers by way of reality TV fame. He is not exactly in a position to be a critic.

The kid is keeping his bad self in the public eye. Props to him for that. As far as the Hills folks and designing? Sounds like a typical Hollywood public relations Cluster...

WOW, you do have a point there. I never thought of it that way.

Well, Lauren at least went/is going to fashion design school, so although her designs may not be considered cutting edge, at least there is some legitimacy there. Heidi, on the other hand, is disgusting media whore, and has no fashion street cred at all.

He's absolutely right.

Totally understand where Christian is coming from. It's just like that other Hilton girl with her clothing line.

Oh my god--
I love Christian so much now!! I laughed sooo hard!!
He's right, they can't sew and on The Hills I never actually saw them design anything (other than their social calendar)-- so who really designed these clothes?

Lauren & Heidi aren't really actors-- they happened to be in the right place in the right time and made it on tv-- albeit a fake reality tv show.

H&M is coming to Seattle and I can't wait!

I like that he's so candid... however, this won't last for long.

What Christian has to understand is that he's in it for the long haul. These other celebrity based lines will come and go, and all he has to do is focus on his interests and work. What they do can't effect him to the point that he's willing to give sound bites. Don't waste time giving them PR coverage, rather, turn it around and talk about something that interests him and what he's working on now.

Work it, Princess!
