Malantastic!

Darlings, what did we say about Malan, lo, those many months ago?

We said "Bravo, this man needs his own show!"

And for once, Bravo listened to us:

"We are proud as peaches to announce that following tonight's episode of "Project Runway," Bravotv.com will premiere it's first-ever "we-totally-made-this-on-our-own" web show, starring the one and only Malan Breton."

Congrats, Darling! How proud is a peach, anyway?

Also darlings, this is your very last chance to win tickets to the TRESemmé Finale Party in NYC. Head on over to the TRESemmé Fantasy Runway Game and make your picks for tonight. Who's in and who's auf?

I can't wait to see it!

Should be interesting. He's always fun in his blogs. Love the pics.

I am so watching this! Love to just listen to him laugh!

Fabulous!

Congrats, Malan!!!

I really, really want to win tickets to the finale but that Tresemme site is STILL giving me fits. I can't make any selections!

He is such a sweet soul, he deserves everything fabulous.

Oh my, my, my, that's just spiffy! Can't wait to see it! (just no underwear drawer, 'kay?)

Picking Jillian to win tonight (I think I caught a glimpse of a similar jacket on the runway this week as last week, so I could just see the judges giving her the win this time), VictorYA to go home ('cuz I think that would be the kind of exit interview that makes psychologists tremble with excitement), Chris with the hair (like there's any rhyme or reason).

Congrats, Malan from Taiwan! I'll be watching it!

Agnes Gooch, you're killing me!

Malan has fabulosity in running through his very veins, it will be nice to see some of it on the telly!

Nobody is more deserving than the stunning Malan. What exacty is the show about?

Tresemme got on my last nerve many weeks ago, but I send good vibes to all others who dare go there.

DOH! I see the link to Malan's show now. Looks fabulous.

Isn't this fabulous? Get me a vodka martini to celebrate!! Make it a double...just in case.

I love Malan and can't wait to see him on tv but I wonder what they will have him doing. I hope it is not humiliating like going through people's underwear drawers or making fat people run around nekkid.

Oh and I gave up on the Treseme web page.It kept losing my choices.

I picked Sweet Pea for the auf because they didn't show her much during the previews and Bravo is a little more tricky this year. Ricky for the redemptive win.

Anonymous said...

On the same page as Malan's show there is a Bravo ad inviting us to "Dress like the Real Housewives." Can't you just feel Malan shuddering?

So re: this Tresemme contest....is the blogger from BPR who apparently knows who won still in the running? I can never get on that site so I have no idea ...

I know I'm in the minority, but I find Malan's breezy, Noel Cowardesque, aren't-I-just-too-fabulous schtick tiresome.

But y'all enjoy!

Also may I remind everyone that it is a WEB show on bravotv.com. Not a tv show like, on cable.

Wow..fantastic Malan! Cheers! (but when are TLo getting their own show--is that too greedy to ask?)

That youtube video of Christian posted above is just adorable. I love his wild abandon and lack of self consciousness. What a cutie.

Is that like being pleased as punch? I have no idea what that means, either.

Mom said...

Suzanne -- I noticed that the BPR moderators' scores didn't change from the previous week this week, so perhaps they have finally caught the Ethics Bus and stopped participating.

"Pleased as punch" -- thank you, eric3000! I hate it when a wrong phrase clogs my brain and I haven't been able to figure out what the correct one is until you said it! Phew!

show on in 11 mins!

On pins and needles here! (wondering who's on the couch with our Boys THIS week...and is there Brie involved this time? Vegan brie?).

GREAT EPISODE tonite!!!!! Loved it! Can't wait for tomorrow!!!! (glad for the winner and glad who got auf'd but think Christian should have won even though he had immunity).

Some good drama too!

Suzanne said...

Agnes Gooch glad to hear that.....I really couldn't believe that was going on over there....

I just watched the preview episode. Very cute.

But near the end, when he was standing in Times Square gazing up, I was sure he was going to pull a Mary Tyler Moore, and throw his hat up in the air.

He didn't. Damn. That would have made it perfect.

I think they mean Proud as Peacocks.

Oh my god, someone please please post this onto you tube when it airs so us poor non-bravo folks can see it!

I love the Malan Show! However, he needed a jaunty little closing theme song. Something samba-ish.

Why didn't I check the blog after 4:00 PM? (oh, yeah, I was working). I feel like y'all had drinks yesterday afternoon without me.

Hope I can catch a repeat of Malan's show. Sounds like fun.

I've been "pleased as pie" and "proud as punch" but the only thing that comes close to peaches is the fuzz on my butt. (sorry - I know it's a bit early for that visual)

Bill,

You can watch it here on the site (See "Bonus video").

I can't wait to hear what the boys have to say about victorYA.

Suzanne said...

OK PRG readers ...have y'all seen Bill's website/store? thefarmhousestore.com

Bill, that frosted barware set is to die.

AND- I grew up going to the Breezy Point beach club every summer....Silver Gull I think it was called?

I just watched The Malan Show (thanks for posting it on this page). What a unique, special person. I've always felt that way about Malan. He seems transplanted from another time, another era, one which embodied alot more class and distinction than ours. I love the show and was excited to see his boutique! But yes, as someone else mentioned, he definitely needs a theme song to go out on.

Good going Malan!

Bill said...

suzanne! The Silver Gull? Really? We used to try sneak in there and use the pool.

Your dance studio looks great. My darlin' partner Ed is a former dance professional (ballet and Broadway tours).

And you sure are a beauty.

Anonymous said...

Aw, I love Malan! He's such a sweetheart.

Anonymous said...

Malan!!! No, darling, you are fabulous. You are divine. You are the cat's pajamas. You are the bee's knees. You are a creme brulee. You are crepes suzettes: elegantly constructed and flaming hot. We need more Malan.

I could not be happier for him. The man has taste and personality and MANNERS. He will be charming. The show will be wonderful.

Suzanne said...

Aaawww Bill- you are a doll. But Photoshop can do wonderous things for wrinkles and bags under the eyes!!

I e mailed by sister about the name of the club....it was actually called the Breezy Point Beach Club- I guess Silver Gull was the one next door that we only belonged to for maybe a year (I was about7 or 8 at the time)

Are those places still around?
