Laura Bennett on The Style Network

Saturday, June 16, 2007 by

We got our greasy little fingers on a couple of public service announcements that our gal Laura Bennett did for Dress For Success which will be airing soon on the Style Network. How freaking GORGEOUS does she look here? Yes, we teased her about her puffy hair earlier this week, but that's because we were sitting on these. You go, you fabulously glamorous, doing-good-deeds girl!

And please check out Dress for Success. They're a fantastic organization based on a simple but brilliant idea.

Oh Yes!!!! Dress for Success is a fantastic organization! I have known about and supported them for years. I worked with a woman who introduced me to them. They had helped her get out of an abusive relationship and get training and a good job to support herself. Yay Laura! And thank you Tom and Lorenzo for helpling support such a great group!

Mmmmwwahh!

Dress for Success is a great organization, and Laura could not be a more perfect spokesperson for the organization.

Dress for Success is a great organization that helps women not only obtain the right business attire for the interview (and five work days if they get the job) but it prepares them for the entire interviewing process and re-entering the workforce. They have volunteer positions for resume editors, career coaches, mentors, as well as personal shoppers.

Thank you so much for your support Laura and Boys!

I could have done without the crazy camera work, particularly in the first one, but it is true, Laura is a great spokesperson and she does look fabulous.

I am very supportive of Dress for Success. Because I am overweight I am very conscientious about recycling my business suits. Many of the women who are supported by the organization are large and there is a huge need for bigger sizes.

Dress For Success is a brilliant organization & I've supported them in the past as well. It would be great if this group adopted them.

And I like Laura's hair much better when she wears it down. It makes her look 10 years younger.

I've been working with an nyc women's nonprofit for the past two years, and there is a huge need for a variety of sizes at Dress for Success, and plus-sized clothing is so appreciated. This is such a great organization to support, and Laura is such a natural spokeswoman.

She's so relaxed in front of the camera. Laura should have her own show.

Who cares if it is puffy hair - at least it's down! I gotta agree with Gotham T on that point. Looks fab.

And the bloody thing worked - I'm thinking about what jackets I have in my closet I don't (ok, can't) wear anymore and how I can give them a good home.

You know what I want?? A bracelet that has WWLBD? so whenever I'm feeling down or blue, I can just look at it and think What would Laura Bennett do? It would make my day!
