The End of an Era

Thursday, December 14, 2006 by
And so, the reign of Empress Morgan the First came to a quiet and appropriately bizarre end.

That is pure concentrated evil coming out of those eyeballs. What some people don't realize is that after she left the show, Morgan moved to the Swiss Alps and built a house out of gingerbread where she spends her time luring unsuspecting children to their death.

We're kidding, of course. It's a gumdrop house.

"I obviously have a very special relationship with you, dear. And you and I are gonna go above and beyond.

[Pause]

I choose Melissa."

Heidi: "That speech makes no sense."

Morgan: "I'm peeing on the runway, assholes. How do you like THAT?"

"MWkillyouallinyoursleepWAHH!"

One last moment on the Drama Couch.

And so, the show becomes a little less interesting. Sure, we ragged on her, but in the long run, she made great television. And we're not just saying that because we're scared of her.

Okay, well a little.

The wickedest, wildest, wrath of a witch at last is gone! Oh, no wait, that's Wendy...!

The crazy bitch at last is gone! About freaking time!!

She makes for fabulous television and is one of many reasons why PR One is my fave of the three seasons. Jay and Austin are unbeatable as our gay heroes and Wendy is the perfect stepsister ugly ready for the loony bin. It just gets better and better with her from here on.

wtf was wendy talking about? Was this editing? or is she really that evil? (I think I already know the answer)

The best was when Morgan is all, "you're gonna make me cry", and then wham! Wendy says "I choose Melissa". Ouch! That's gotta hurt.

CP, that's what Wendy really said. The Gayboys didn't make it up. Bitch slap, bitch slap! When do we get to bitch slp her?

I know! I thought the same thing. Talk about stabbing you in the back.

The Queen is dead, long live the Queen! Was Wendy in fine form in this epi, or what? Her total Morgan mind-fuck only foreshadowed what she later did to Kevin. Who else would be able to put Morganza in her place? Score one cage match to La Pepper! (Wonder how she'd do against Barbara Stanwyck....)

granite Janet - what i meant was did PR edit it so wendy's words came out like that? it seemed beyond evil even for her.

ps put me down for the la pepper bitch slap

You know, that speech that Wendy made just toyed with Morgan. Morgan thought Wendy was going to totally pick her and then she just does a 180 at the end an picks Melissa instead. That really made me hate Wendy even more, if that's possible.

It didn't seem like an edit. I think Wendy was looking at Morgan when she picked Melissa. Nice one Wendy! The comments everyone made about Kevin (later in episode) were edited to make Wendy look even worse.

I'll miss Morganza!

Good riddance! She was nothing but trouble!!

Jay once said: "Morganza has been difficult, dramatic, moody, and...uh, crazy." Enough said. Buh-bye, Morgan!

So, who's next on the "Drama Couch"?

Can't beat the Morgan/Wendy dynamic. The sad thing is I suspect that Wendy deluded her crazy self into believing that she was saying something nice to Morgan.

And this is why I chuckle when I hear people complain that season three had too much drama compared to the prior seasons. It just had different and less fun drama (and more commercials hyping the drama into more than it really was).

Yeah, like "everything will be OK, Morgan, as long as I stay and you go."

Hi Lynette, darling,

Some people are having problems logging in. It's something wrong with blogger; sometimes it doesn't accept the password. We suggest posting using the "other" or "anonymous" function and signing your name so we know it's fabulous you : - )

oh sigh. it still only works about half the time. and if i'd thought that would actually post, i'd have written "may i post," lest my mother spin in her grave.

we shall see if this works ~ lynette aka bigassbelle

well shoot. fix it, poodles! fix it!! it's still only working about half the time . . .

but as i was saying (or trying) ~ about that crazy morganza. i thought she'd go berserk when wendy fucked with her that way.

that girl is a flatout fruitcake, but wicked wendy is the one who's skeerin' me right now. eek! gave me nightmares last night!! that smirk, that smug countenance. it's truly horrifying.

Morganza's problem can be fixed with medication. Wendy's problem can only be fixed by...exorcism, perhaps? That's a bad, bad lady.

LOL. True, WTF? Wendy is really wicked.

I got really worried for a minute that Melissa was going to be going home and Morgan would be staying. Well, at least Wendy did SOMETHING right this episode, though that is about all she did right.

How she did it though. Wow. It was a moment that really summed Wendy up in her entirety. She is an opportunistic bitch that will stop at nothing and step on everyone that gets in her way. But she doesn't want any of the people she steps on to be mad at her. WTF?!?

You have to pick a side. You either want to be everyone's friend, or you want to win at all costs. To try and play both sides will only bring out the bi-polar bitch in you. Wendy's not fake, she is EVIL.

So do we KNOW what ever happened to her?

LOL. Poor Morgan...she was like "Can I go now?" I don't she understands how crazy she is.

Is she still modeling? Morgan, I know you read this blog. Tell us!!

I can't believe it was between Melissa and Morgan. I mean, Melissa is a fantastic model. I'm surprised nobody picked her first.

That was a sad moment for me too! I loved Morganza. We don't get much of the model drama in Season 2. But as Andy from Realityblurred pointed out, the models are not paid. We get all that model drama for FREE! (http://www.realityblurred.com/realitytv/archives/project_runway_3/2006_Oct_18_models_not_paid)

If anyone has caught the UK version on PR, I think it's fierce. It's called "Project Catwalk" with Liz Hurley as the host of Season 1. I caught the entire season on You Tube. I think PR4 should adopt the model choosing like Project Catwalk.

I'm sorry you guys, anyone that thinks this is the height of weird model stuff is forgetting the DAGGERS that were shooting from their big blue eyes during the Great Model Walk-Off of Season 2.

That was some *serious* poison-eye.

It's true. Wendy is evil. And here she was simply evil for evil's sake. (Or perhaps for the sake of good TV, in which case: Go Wendy! Although she's still evil.)

But really, that seemed gratuitously cruel. "Morgan, I love you. Goodbye." If one of the other designers had pulled that, I would have thought that maybe they were goin' for payback (and who could blame them) but Morgan never messed up a challenge for Wendy. Maybe Wendy just wanted to show everyone on PR that, no matter how nice she is to your face, she's still going to stab you in the back in the end. Of course, everyone had already received that message long ago, loud and clear.

I did think that it was hysterical that Wendy kept getting upset that other people didn't like her. That made me think that maybe underneath all the EVIL, Wendy was just as delusional as Crazy!Morgan. I almost feel sorry for her. Or I would if not for, you know, THE EVIL.

Yeah, I really didn't understand what Wendy was talking about. But she isn't the first designer to lead on one model and then pick the other one. They're all teases! I wish they'd just shut up and pick.

I loved that Wendy totally fucked with Morganza. She gave that deluded little twat false hope and then crushed her like a bug.

Morgan is a vile nutcase. She walked up to Tim Gunn and slapped him across the face. He should have pressed charges and put that freak in jail.

In the end, Tim can have the last laugh. Morgan was dropped by her agency. Now she's just another old washed-up ex-model.

Morganza doesn't compare to anything in season 1 or 2. Maybe it might be due to the sheer amount of airtime we got in those seasons, but seriously, 1 was the shit. I will forever love Morganza. Everytime I read her name spelled like that, I think of "orgasm." No idea why.
