I knew I loved you guys for a reason (other then the brilliant wit, of course.) Jay's season 1 dress reamins my all time favorite as well.

I seriously hope you guys are making some money from all this...

Fabulous interview. you guys are great. Don't agree with you about Jillian though.

You guys are more famous than the show itself. You rock!

You know I can always count on coming here and hearing about some off the wall website. Great interview, I never would have found that myself.

I* will never get tired of listening to you two.

* I would put we , but I'll let everyone speak for themselves.

I'm happy that you boys are getting the attention you deserve for this fabulous little oasis in the internet desert.

And I second that emotion for the final 3 picks: Jillian, Rami & Christian (& I'd like to see Chris rounding it out to 4). Jillian has been a surprise too hasn't she? Who woulda thunk it, from that audition video, that she would turn out to be such a powerhouse?

And btw, every time I see that drawing of Lorenzo, I'm reminded of good 'ol Charlie Brown. (I always knew there was a reason why Linus was never interested in Sally.)

We laughed out loud at Heidi's cool, teutonic "What's up with you?" in response to Ricky's hysterics on the runway.

Yeah!! She killed with that line. And you describe her delivery perfectly! Love you guys.

fabulous boys! another reason to love you :)

Fabulosity all the way, bitches! You, your readers (and that includes me, of course), the blog...It's too much, I need a drink. Where's my pool boy?

Anonymous said...

I like how she refers to Alex as "your illustrator" as though you have him on retainer or something. Well, maybe you do and he sketches dirty cartoons or Laura Bennett paper dolls for you all day!

Gotta agree with you on Jillian. In fact, I agree with everything you said. Except I think C&C's dress was my absolute favorite.

Robot woman is tremendously talented, and really puts out items that can be classic; but she does have some time issues. And she's finally showing some emotions.

However, internet rumor has it, that it's a final 4, not a final 3; unless there's a decoy.

thanks so much boys, for putting the link to that interview up.... i'm going through withdrawal knowing i'm not going to get a new episode tonight!

so nice to have a little tlo wit, wisdom and predictions to tide us all over.

i agree with your picks for the final 3 (although i REALLY want to see Chris in there....)

THANKS!

Love it! I agree with the final 3 picks - with Chris as the decoy.

And thank God for that! You and the fabulous people who participate on this site are a much needed oasis of wit in a world that seems to have forgotten how to laugh.

Merci beaucoups!

Good thing, because you two are keeping me amused whilst Bravo TV takes this hiatus!

I didn't realize you two were blogging aristocracy! Cool!

....and I concur with Rosie's girl... I really do enjoy the posters here. It's a fun place to be!!

Great interview, our (meaning, "your") little world being seen in the light of the greater universe! I know as a relatively new arrival last year that I can't say too much on this, but I hope that this doesn't become that little favorite hole in the wall that suddenly gets overwhelmed by it's own success because I love the site and the regular posters.

I am glad there were some more Jillian supporters here. I locked her in first week as my pick for the win on the Tresseme site. Without a major f'up, I can't see anyone else other than Rami and Christian rounding out a top three, with Chris as a possible 4th (but then, I originally thought that that part would be played by Kevin or Kit, who knew?).

Thanks guys!

Fabulous interview, fabulous subjects!

I loved the interview - but I hope Chris is in the top 3!! I would love to see his collection!!

OT - can I find prior season's videos of PR anywhere?? I can't get anything on the website.

Nice interview. I love Laura Bennett, too.

I actually had a DREAM about Jillian in which she burst out of her timidity and designed some of the most fabulous things ever made. I do think the girl has it in her, and it's just a matter of time...

I hope Chris makes it to the Final 3 because I am DYING to see what he would come up with! SURELY he wouldn't bore us and send out a whole line without something terrifically mind-blowing in it. My secret desire is that they have a Final FOUR again, with Chris, Christian, Rami & Jillian. And they need to get Jack Mackenroth to recreate his Flashdance performance before the final runway show at Bryant Park.

You can find tons of clips of old Project Runway shows (and even Canadian Project Runway shows) on YouTube: www.youtube.com and it MIGHT take you to a whole bunch of them if you click here:
http://www.youtube.com/profile_videos?user=parselforce

They tend to title their Project Runway shows by Season (S) and Episode (E), so S01E01 would mean Seaons 1, Episode 1.

Happy to report that we concur on all things Project Runway boys! (withmaybe the exception of Steven & the menswear chllange...)

Just think, 18 months ago we didn't know that you existed, and now we can't live without our regular TLo (and Alex!) fix....

Siete favolosi!

Hephaestion said...

Hey, why isn't there a new Project Runway show on telly tonight??? Did Republicans take over Bravo or something?

Anonymous said...

Ok, I swear to God, I copied and pasted this phrase:

"...at least two aggressively UGLY dresses on that runway..."

BEFORE I read the entire interview where, at the end, the interviewer writes "you had me at aggressively ugly" or something to that effect. ha!

Classic TLo. I swear that someone should compile a TLoictionary. In some cases TLoICKtionary?

Good going guys! I WAS surprised at the Jillian choice though...tres interesting..you never fail to surprise me. :) I love you both and your fabulous fabulosity!

LOL. I know, right? It's cute. I'm glad Alex is getting some recognition for his amazing work.

Bitches, I was just on the Outzone site and saw that they mentioned your cartoons. How cool!!
Do you know about this? I'm sure you do, but here's the link anyway.

I bow before your fabulosity, boys!

and here i thought our tastes has begun to wildly diverge. i can't say i've agreed with everything you gay boys have posted this season, but i am in complete agreement about your final three picks and your choice of favorite designer.

ever since the third episode, when Jillian was the only designer to successfully construct four pieces (how wimpy did Jack's outfit look in comparison??), i knew the cleverly-dressed little minx was onto something special.

Anonymous said...

Aw -- they said Alex was your "illustrator".

Katiecoo...

Looking for a name for a tloictionary?

It should definitely be the t-locutionary.

Always happy to see my boys get the recognition they deserve. You blog like no others, and I love you for it!

Jillian!?! Really!?!
She can sew, and of course her aggressively bland personality shouldn't enter into it. Her main problem is her total inability to manage her time. I swear Tim is going to lock her in the basement of Parsons one of these times.
She's in real danger of tanking on some challenge just because she can't get it done on time, just like Carmen did (mind you she's a much better designer than Carmen).

That doesn't really mean anything outside of a reality show competition. It's not a measure of her worth as a designer.

Great interview! Not only do I agree with all your choices, I am jumping up and down clapping my hands like a giddy school girl that Jillian's aesthetic was your favorite this season, too. As much as her personality on the show is a snooze, when she gets her act together she knocks it out of the park.

And Laura Bennett will rule forever. (She had me at the first challenge).

I think it's beautiful.. It shows a lot of construction skill . He made it look like a different fabric.. I would totally wear it

veruca salt:

Yes, that coat was fabool and I was shocked that she didn't win the first challenge.

Now as to the PR4 finale predictions. I can't disagree with the Rami, Christian, Jillian threesome. and that's what bugs me. I'm feeling the snores already.

Wouldn't it be a hoot if Sweet P and Chris were in the finals? I'm just saying, if Chris were to get his exuberance on, and Sweet P were to knock Rami out at the last minute.

Of course, I guess we all agree that Li'l Ricky is auf, auf auf.

I am glad that you boys are getting the attention that you so deserve. You have really created a wonderful universe here for all things Runway. The Bravo site doesn't even begin to measure up.

But you are so dang popular now that by the time I read your next post you already have over 100 comments! Who needs one more!

But it's all good and so are you.

Congrats on the fun interview. Speaking of the fabulous Bad Mommy, I thought Heidi's dress during the judging of the denim challenge looked like something Laura might have designed. Any chance you could find out? I know Kara Saun designed a lot for Heidi for Season 2, did Laura get a chance for this season?
Thanks,
Me2

Hi Me2,

Thanks! No, that dress wasn't designed by Fabulous Mommy.
