Quickie recap: The remaining designers must design a "make over" looks for each other. You can read Tim's Take here and listen to his podcast here.

You work that shit, girl!

Honestly? There's not much to say here. She totally deserved the win.

It's a testament to her skills that she had never done menswear before and yet she pulled it off perfectly. It's classic, it's stylish and it's tailored to perfection.

And we thought using the pink was brilliant. It's not for everyone (not even us) but come on, it's perfect for Nick, even if he did think he looked like a flight attendant.

Of course, Nick was off-base about a lot of things this week, but that's a story for another day.

Far and away the best of the bunch. Nick looked like he was thinking, "Lookatme, lookatme, lookatme," and that's the way to work it. Would that my next flight attendant looked like that!

It's Nick -- only better! Chloe nailed this one; she was true to herself and her client.

Anyone that can produce that on the first go'round with menswear deserves the win.

For me, it had a 70's business wear feel to it (guess it was the vest and colored shirt). And I responded to that because I was just dying for one of those 1975 mustached Dry Look hotties from TV to show up on my doorstep in a vested suit and steal me away from the suburbs of NJ when I was ten yrs old.

Yes, Chloe's results were great: Crisp & handsome. But she had a definate advantage - how hard is it to make Nick look adorable?

Fantastic! Chloe's best showing since the Clothes-Off-Your-Back challenge.

One of the best outfits of the whole year. Althought, Chloe did luck out and got the hottest model on the show, regardless of gender. Chloe and Nick both rocked it.

Wow! That is incredible. Mens wear is really hard there are a lot of pieces in the patterns, I mean a lot! collar and facing, collar stand and facing, cf placket, sleeve (sleeve cap totally different from womens), back yoke, back body, front body left and right, cuff and sleeve placket. The trousers have even more! It is amazing that she was able to pull this off, did the designers that had to do mens wear at least have basic slopers to base there designs off of? and a mens form to fit on? Still it's amazing.
Side note: Why does Nick's head look so big in the "before" screen cap? Jesus, I wrote a book here.

That last picture of Nick in the vest looks very Saturday Night Fever pose to me. He just needed to raise one arm over his head and point.

I loved this, and I thought Nick looked great. I remember being a little annoyed at the number of times she uttered the line "I've never done menswear!" But re-thinking it a couple of years later, I would have been the same way if I won a contest for something I really had not worked on. Good on ya, Chloe!

I saw Nick guest hosting an episode of Reality Chat on the TV Guide Channel wearing an outfit just like the one Chloe made for him. She really did hit the nail on the head with this one.

Loved it! Heck, I'd spring for First Class for the chance to dish with a flight attendant like Nick!

It was great, it was her first time doing menswear (no! did she really mention that in the epsiode?!)...

...but I was all Kara FTW on this one. Nick is just fabulous by default. Santino isn't.

Ahhh! I LOVED this outfit. Chloe so deserved the win. I bet Uncle Nick loves it too, since he's been seen everywhere with that pinstripe vest!

This outfit is gorgeous and Nick looked HOT HOT HOT.

It's amazing that she'd never made mens clothes before. Best outfit!

Tom & Lorenzo, I know your next post will be all about nailing Nick to the wall. And i just hope you've read far enough back into the comments for the "Inspiration" challenge to know all about the nasty trick the producers pulled on him. Granted his work in these last 3 challenges sucked ass but you owe it to him to at least acknowledge the reasons behind his slide into mediocrity (which involved more than just losing his model).

Fits Nick to a T, both literally and figuratively. It's always nice when the one who wins unquestionably deserves it--and it doesn't happen all that often.

NOW THAT WHAT I'M TALKIN' 'BOUT!

Sorry, that's just the reaction I have when I see Nick in this outfit. Chloe couldn't have done a better job -- Nick looks fantastic.

Chloe deserved this win. Hands down, the best of the bunch. Not that there was a lot to choose from this time around.

The only real contender was Kara,(IIRC), who dressed Santino, complete with hat. But that's for another day.

I was totally on the Chloe train by this point of S2. Danny Who? :-)

Absolutely perfect for her client, and absolutely perfect for the challenge. This one was a no-brainer.

I absolutely loved this. It was the hands-down winner. I also liked the little touch of the chain (I don't know if there were any pictures of that). I thought it was a nice little addition..very Nick. :)

It was with this episode that I realized that Chloe had been a challenger for the win on nearly every task in the season.

Even at her worst (the first episode, the "Inspiration" challenge, and the "What's your line" challenge, as examples), she had never been completely lost, and had never needed to rely on "concept" or argument to carry her through.

She even knew enough to ignore Nick's request for a tight vest in this episode. Her professionalism, taste, and skill were just unmatched by any in her season.

That said, I'd love to see what would happen in a Project Runway All-Stars season ... how would Laura, Kara Saun, and Chloe (who share many characteristics) pan out head-to-head?

Cheers,
Au

p.s. Love the blog, darlings ... I wish you all the success in the world, Mwah.

Perrrrrfection ... combination of a great read of Nick by Chloe, impecable styling and smokin' hottie Nick made this one of my favorites of all time.

I can't believe she pulled out such an amazing entry that requires so much work in their short time.

Remember in Tim's podcast he says that the designers wanted to stop for manicures I believe.

All those pattern pieces...done in that time...so flawlessly. Amazing. Perfectly deserving for the win. (Though from what I remeber I liked Karas a close second.)
