Malan had a show, Darlings!

The ever-fabulous Malan Breton from Taiwan showed his Fall 2007 collection this week, darlings. We adore the blue velvet dressing gown. Give that bitch a turban and a cigarette holder, pronto.

Feed on the fabulosity:

Malan may just become the Jennifer Hudson of PR.

Other than the green ruffly thing, I love this collection, especially the last three.

Go Milan! Lovin' it. I like that blue dress too. Overall, these clothes are more practical and something an everyday woman might wear (which i like to see).

Isn't it interesting how Milan has put himself out there a lot more than let's say...ohhhhhh...JAY? You get an oportunity to be on a show that will give you a voice and an identity, and even if you get kicked off, use it as an opportunity. Milan has done that and then some.

There is so much exuberence in his style. In him as well. And that boy sure loves old Hollywood. But the clothes don't look like costumes. Yes,the blue robe needs a turban. And a fainting couch.

But it's so couture! So Signature Milan to reach for that type of artistic height. It isn't practical, but it's gorgeous all the same. Every dress made a statement. One of Milan's excellent attributes as a designer and a person.
Kudos, Darling Malan!

I love Malan. He's proof that you can get eliminated from Project Runway and still have an absolutely massive amount of talent! The only piece I didn't like was that green one..

The blue dress and the long coat (in the last row of pictures) are my favorite! Love the entire collection though. Malan is magnificent!

A smart woman would wear that black coat and gray trousers to the Academy Awards. And the second smartest would wear the navy velvet robe.

Lovely collection, Malan!

Malan is all about glamor, old Hollywood glamor. I love it! It is fabulous!

P.S. I love the fabrics too.

Oh I'm so sad I missed it. Next time I'll be there I swear it by haute couture!

You know, I'm starting to think that, of all the PR designers, Malan's getting into the business fastest and most successfully (excluding those who already had lines maybe). Good job Malan!

Malan, Austin & Laura would make a great "house" together--they're all the same rich colour, just slightly different shades.

HA!! In your face, Jay McCarroll!!

I love how the fabulous Malan Bretan has already organized TWO prestigious fashion shows and opened a store in New York. You never hear him whining or bitching about Tim&Heidi.

It makes Jay look even more pathetic in comparison.

You go, Malan! You wonderfully peculiar and fascinating creature. I adore him. And his gorgeous clothes!

Congratulations, darhling.

Malan's 15 minutes of fame are lasting longer than I thought. Congratulations, Malan!

I absolutely adore Malan and his clothes always seem to look stunning!

I thought this show was almost perfect ....
...
with the exception of Smellrose being one of his models ... ugh.

I love Malan's collection. I would wear every single one of these outfits. They are sophisticated and glamorous.

Malan could sell those dresses at Neiman Marcus, Barneys, Nordstrom or any fancy department store. He would sell them all.

Melrose Bickerstaff from ANTM modeled in the show. I bet she's so sad she didn't try out for PR.

The first one looks familiar...oh yes that's the collar on the dress Vince made for Uli's mother..lol.

that link doesn't even have the full collection. I loved every minute of this show. thank you so much for the tickets. I was hoping i would have met you two though. i guess i just had to settle for Tim Gunn, Angela, Diana, and Goil. Did you guys go to the after party? Sadly, I couldn't make it.

Ed & I ran into Malan at City Center on Sunday night during intermission of the Encores! series presentation of the Sondheim musical Follies.

I complemented him on his collection and he could not have been more gracious in his thanks (despite the fact that I interrupted a conversation he was having to say hello). He really is charm and grace personified.

Reach for your inner glamour and let it shine. You too can be anything you dream even if someone says you cannot. Never let anyone keep you from your dream.
