Bonnie reminds us all why none of us can remember her.

"I was like...!"

"And then I was like ...!"

"And then I was like...!

Hmmm. Okay, then! Thanks for checking in, Katherine.

Bonnie! Right. We mean Bonnie, of course.

LOL, she's a Valley Girl - totally tubular!

All I have to say is - What was she wearing????? Just don't get the toga thing at all.

All I can say is; too shiny, and you need a necklace.

The one that really got me was Stacey. I saw her and honestly had no idea who she was for the first five minutes.

TOGA TOGA TOGA!

Must have a beer, dear!

poor katherine. . .

I saw this again at like 2:00 this morning, and she looked even stupider than when I originally saw it! I don't think she completed a sentence the whole time she was on the show, not that it made any difference since none of what she was saying made sense.

And here's a little tip for the rest of the designers who *haven't* shot themselves in the foot yet - if someone asks you how it is to be recognized, take a page from Vincent's book and pretend all the attention is positive. Don't say on national television that people are stopping you on the street to tell you how much you suck.

No, seriously.

I actually liked Bonnie when she was on the show and felt bad for her when she got auf'd and started to cry. But I couldn't stand her on the reunion special.

Exactly! I liked her enough on the show but would have been unable to tell you which woman was Bonnie and which was Katherine. They seemd to me to be the girly version and the tomboy version of the same person.

DolceLorenzo said...

LOL. She seems sweet but the whole "I was like..." and "she was like..." was just too much.

I agree, how can you say on national television that people are stopping you on the street to tell you how much you suck?

Her voice gets on my nerves, and I can't even remember anyone of her outfits.

Anonymous said...

At least she's learned how to use make-up since she got eliminated from the show.

Seriously, what's the deal with the homely-looking female designers this season? (Laura excluded, of course.) Katherine looks more like a poster child for teen acne than a serious designer.

LOL, darlin's! I love you boys!

I was like, "like who IS this chic?" She's like totally annoying! Her hair? Like SO yesterday. And like what was that dress? Eeeeeew! Like gag me with a fleurchon!

That would have completed the Wilma Flintstone look.

i like bonnie. on the show and at the reunion, she seemed very sweet and nice...in short, very real.

I still cringe when I think of that disaster that got her aufed

Come on y'all. Have a little mercy - the poor girl got kicked off and then embarassed herself on national TV by sounding like an airhead. I thought she at least looked pretty good, so let's stick to criticizing things they can do something about - like their speech - instead of their looks. Homely female designers? There are some strikingly pretty ones and some not so exciting ones, but none HOMELY! I must be getting old. I just don't see people as "ugly" much any more. They may not "turn ME on", but they don't repulse me either. If you want to criticize looks go after Jeffrey - he CHOSE to disfigure himself with that atrocious tattoo! I "question HIS taste level!"

BigAssBelle said...

um . . . you mean there really was a katherine?

Anonymous said...

OK, the "homely" comment is a bit below the belt. Personally, I don't think she's fugly at all - not Heidi Klum-esque, but c'mon. If the show was filled with gorgeous female designers, people would be bitching about that, too, right? I just find it funny that certain people jump to criticize how she looks. Let's see how you guys look on TV and then we'll talk, mmkay? That being said, I agree that she wasn't memorable. Then again, she didn't have too much control over that, since it's all in the editing.

Anonymous said...

It's funny how you quickly forget some of them. I was talking to my friend about last season's designers and I couldn't remember some of their names.

Changing the subject, have y'all read the missive Keith wrote on Blogging ProjectWay?

Yet another conspiracy theory with even more goblins!

Aww, I like Bonnie. A lot. The fact that she couldn't put together a complete sentence is disappointing, however.

I don't think she looks homely at all - she's rather pretty, even, now that she has good hair and normal skin. The toga, though? Like, no, girl.

I had no clue to who she was when this reunion episode came on... but thanks to Bravo airing the marathons all weekend every weekend, my memory was refreshed.

yeah, I thought she was cute and bubbly and a welcome respite from all the other Sturm und Drang (ha! Just fulfilled my goal to use S&D at least once a week in a sentence). And the outfit that got her auf'd, I thought, was quite attractive. It just missed the market-target. Save your venom for all the real meanies!

Anonymous said...

I liked her but I was never impressed with her designs.

Anonymous said...

I thought Bonnie was a total cutie and I loved her reunion outfit. (who the hell said "homely?" Please!)

My main problem is that I cannot think of one thing she designed. Not one. I remembered Katherine's green "auf'ed" dress and even Stacey's boy-short shower curtain dress, but not Bonnie.

Wait, she did the cowl-neck thing that Nina couldn't get over hating...it's all coming back now...but what else?

Anonymous said...

Oh, and you don't wear a necklace with a one-shoulder outfit. (That is, unless your Missy Elliot or something and can wear tons of jewelry and not look like a crazy, French Riviera tourist.)

You wear long earrings. Bonnie did good.

Anonymous said...

Oh come on, why is everyone so mean to poor Starr? It's pretty obvious that her comments in the reunion special were edited to bits to make her look super airheaded. I'm sure there were intelligible sentences between those "likes" that were excised.

I actually thought Kirsten's story was pretty cute :[

I liked her dog challenge outfit..

Not that anyone can remember which one that was, haha. Black dress, white coat anyone? (At least I think it was..)

Gigi said...

She is totally adorable but has a little trouble forming complete sentences at times.

that first pic is hilarious. haha.

I was waiting for you two to comment on this. If I wasn't already living in California, I would have thought I had stepped into the Way-Back Machine with the controls set for 1985. Poor thing, that's one story she should have taken to the grave.

I remember Bonnie. She was adorable. First cold day of the season, I'm wearing a cowl-neck sweater (from Malandrino by way of a factory outlet). Eat that Nina Garcia! :-)

Anonymous said...

Honestly, as much as I hate to admit it, I think the only reason I remembered her is that I'm a Bonnie, too - and there are very few of us under the age of 55. :(
So... yeah. Go her.

Anonymous said...

Yes, the toga dress ia definitely a no-no.

Anonymous said...

I cannot for the life of me remember any of her designs, except the one that got her elinimated.

Unknown said...

Awww.....I thought Bonnie was so cute!

Anonymous said...

I liked Bonnie a lot. Like someone else said, she seemed like a genuinely cheerful and friendly person. So she's a bit bubbly? And, come on. I thought admitting that people denigrate her on the street was cute. She did get kicked off, after all. I'm sure the same thing happens to each of them.

Anonymous said...

I could never tell the difference between her and the other girl w/ brown hair.
Katherine/Bonnie, I kind of thought they were the same person.

Anonymous said...

I felt bad when she was eliminated in the dog challenge. I kind of liked the little green dress and I liked the hoodie on the dog, so cute.

Anonymous said...

I thought she looked great. She did fine - didn't advance - but she was not fluff.

I am too lazy to sign in - but I am not a family member/friend.

JM said...

Sorry, but I was extremely skeptical about Bonnie's story, I think she made it up because she probably doesn't get recognized very often. It sounded fake, no?Only in cartoons do people really go up to a person to say "you suck" and then run away, no. She looked pretty though, I'm not a fan of the grecian off-the-shoulder look but I thought she looked nice.

Anonymous said...

omg I thought I was the only one who could never remember her

The green dress and dog with hoodie were nice. But that Katharine, right? You guys are confusing me. Anyway, off topic, there were at least two worse designs in the dog challenge. Angela and her hooker dress? Come on! My take is, when the judges are hesitating between two losers (or winners, even), the producers make the final choice. And THEY choose on the basis of who makes "good tv", Katharine didn't, but Angela (see my nightdress) sure did!

Why is Jeffrey 'the angry little peanut' ?
