Good for Emmett! He had me in his corner when he walked out of the Atlas in that pink skating costume! I would have Auf'd myself! Best of luck to him and his store!

You guys have fun!

Brian

I'm tempted to go...and also tempted to take my fish: Tim Gunn, & And Sometimes Santino.

But that would be creepy.

suzanne's idea is fabulous ~ they need to hire y'all to do a recap on the thing next year.

alas, i will be unable to bask in the glory of your presence at the soiree ~ so sad. it would be divine to lay eyes upon the two of you in all of your fabulousness.

and thank you, pumpkins, for visiting me! i feel as if the queen of england herself dropped in for tea!! ;-)

Fantastic! Not sure if I can attend, but will certainly try to be there.
Emmett is so sweet. I'm glad he's doing well.

Anonymous said...

Oh my goodness! Is this invite only or is this entirely open to all?

TLo said...

It's open to all, BG.

Ooh, let's go get drinks at Cento Vini first so we'll be properly lubricated. It's just a stone's throw away from Nolita. I'm assuming you will be visiting avec moi that weekend? I shall be very cross if you come by without a driveby greeting at the very least. Very cross indeed.

Question is, what'll y'all be wearing? It IS Fashion Week, y'know.

Thanks for the info, Emmett. I'll be there with some of my friends and my credit card, for sure. I can't wait to see all the designer's clothes.

Oh, Emmett! *Swoon* I thought you were great last season, and a really classy guy to boot. Too bad I live thousands of aeons from NY or I would totally come to your soiree.

Anyhoo, PRGayBoys, give Tim Gunn a big sloppy kiss from me!

Love you guys!

If Nick is there, give him a big hug for me. Or give him something else, but tell us later all about it...

I am SO there!! How will we know you Rungay guys? Will you wear a nametag?

katiecoo said...

Oh. My. God! Does anybody have a spare plane ticket, Phoenix to NYC laying around they could lend me for that Sat? I could be your bodyguard, your beard, your fashion faghag, your photographer/autograph seller, PR person, your paparazzi and anything else you might need Gayboys...all for free! :D Someone has GOT to go there with a camera. GOT TO!!!!! I then could start filling in my line drawing image of the Boys sitting in the Bryant Park seats with actual color!!!!!!!! AWESOME guys! (please, someone protect them from Vincent though...seriously...ack!)

katiecoo said...

PS. Hi Emmett! Nice to see you over here! I'd like anything pink in..errr...ok I'll email you my size. ;)

This is excellent. Sounds trippy. Hope to see you there, PRGayBoys.

Yes, yes. I will be there with my fabulous gays.

See, now this is where bg's neuroses start kicking in. If I'm there is a 3,000 person crowd waiting to meet Tim, Chloe, Uncle Nick, I'm going to start stewing about what to say in the 10 seconds I'll have near each of them. E.g.: "OhmygodTimGunn!IloveyouonprojectrunwayIcan'tbelieveyou're53youlooksoputtogetherinBananaORMacy'sgear!Ihaveglasesjustlikeyours,see?canyousignthist-shirt?ohmygodthanks!".

See? I'm not a good gusher. I'd like to be able to walk up to Tim Gunn, say something pithy and witty and glide away with a gracious "yes, brilliant minds do think alike" smile on my face. :(

A throng of 3000? Okay kiddies, drinks first then you're on your own! I am so going shopping afterwards. Atelier should have gotten their second deliveries of Raf Simons by now, and I need a new coat. I doubt I'll find anything at EMC2 for me, unless I'm looking for something in charmeuse...which, you know, no...

Anonymous said...

Here's my nueroses: What on earth could I wear that would be fabulous enough? I have a fantastic wardrobe...but it's Tim Gunn for the love of god! And I'm with you, george g. I don't do crowds.
Decisions, decisions...

Oh, gawd. This is torture. If I still lived in Boston, I'd just hop on the train and be there.

*pout*

YAY! I'm so glad to be the sister of PR gayboy #1! Eat your heart out fans, I'm going to this event on the arms of the PR Gay boys!

Love you boys!

I am eating my heart out anonymous sister. But I'm skipping the (fffffff) Chianti.

Love you back, baby! Can't wait to see what shoes you're wearing!

What a earnest lil' entreprenuer.

Shoes, dress, bag, accessories! I'm so excited!

I do believe there will be our own pre-fashion show this weekend over some cocktails.

Your favorite sister (don't tell Mary -hahaha) and BIGGEST FAN!

Sigh...wishing I was closer to NYC. I'll have to send my Good Vibrations across the miles from California. *wipes tear* ;-)

You can BE the favorite little sister of PRGay Boy#1 as long as I get one of those fabulous PRGBoy arms for myself!

Must go shopping this weekend!!

Anonymous said...

Do you think Tim would autograph my Tim Gunn underoos?

Anonymous said...

let's hope vincent is not invited... do they really make a tim gunn bobblehead? where?

I've just started reading through these blogs but you won my heart when you called Jeffrey an angry little hobbit.
The event sounds delightful and I will definitely try to come.
Thank you for the head's up!

I am so jealous!! I want to go too.

But, alas, I'm miles and miles away. I did, in a moment of insanity, check hotel-room availability in NYC. Eek. Everyone makes money during Fashion Week, it seems. The place I stayed a couple of years ago is now triple the price I paid back then!

Have fun, fun, fun.

And if you see Peanut or KayneBow, tell them howdy from their fans. (OK, OK, I know I'm one of only a few Peanut fans . . . )

katiecoo said...

PS. All fabulous sisters, make sure your cameras have batteries! And don't forget to bring every camera you have! And make sure you have the manual in case you need to use it! Thanks! ;)

Okay, those of us out here in the hinterlands (south of the mason dixon line, y'all, and slightly west of the Mississippi river) will be waiting for numerous photos to be posted. And like the others, I am very eager to SEE the PRGayBoys as well as READ them! Sisters, can you oblige? No, you will probably be too busy sharing in the witty repartee. Oh, well . . . have fun anyway!

Anonymous said...

I'm seriously considering bumping up my Seattle trip to stay in NYC to make this thing. If only to meet the PR Gayboys.

*sigh*

Don't envy me people, it really is hard being my fabulous self.

Emmett, glad to see you're here. For someone who had only done menswear, you really did some beautiful womenswear pieces.

And I know you've heard this a million times Emmett, but I thought your figure skating dress was beautiful. I loved the "Starry Night" pattern on the chest and back.

And Sasha Cohen does a move where she basically does a standing split while spinning. Her knee is up against her nose and there is PUH-LENTY of tootie being shown!

Anne Slowey's probably never had an orgasm anyway. You can tell just by looking at her.

I get bitchy when I see injustice. I just feel too damn much sometimes! ;-)

I am originially from NYC, so I could actually free load on the relatives, am entertaining the thought of going.....
but have whatever the phobia of crowds is- don't think its claustro...
almost cut a bitch for "breathing my air" at a Kelly Clarkson concert recently.....so not sure if I could hack the Gunn-mania.

Anyone have an extra Xanax or 2?
Maybe I should e mail Vinny Whackadoo and ask him to share his meds?

PLEASE TAKE PICTURES! SOME OF US CAN'T MAKE IT SO WE NEED THE NEXT BEST THING TO BEING THERE! DON'T FORGET! IF YOU PLAN TO GET DRUNK (DUH!) HIRE (BRIBE, THREATEN, SEDUCE, ASSAULT) PEOPLE!
