Shannone is amazing, clearly the cream of the crop. But I think a lot of the models are good this season - much better than Season 4.

This is completely hysterical. That first look was so telling, I had to laugh out loud while watching it last night. Shannone takes no prisoners when it comes to the models this season.

You're right. It wouldn't be Kenley's talent as at designing and sewing that would keep her in - it's the fact that her model can move her legs and walking distracts Michael and Nina. Whatever. Models do not win the challenges (altho I will admit they can help lose them).
As much as I like Korto, if she doesn't swap models with Kenley, I am going to have no other choice than to think of her as 3 different types of stupid. Her current model looks like that skank Jo from the the Pimp My Ex show, and that ain't good.

ReplyDeleteI was impressed with Jerell's model too. She worked that crazy outfit with just the right attitude. She elevated it to a witty joke instead of a pratfall.
Shannone is the best one walkin' this season. Any designer who doesn't grab her when they get the chance is crazy. And I agree that the caliber of the models seems to be higher this season. I haven't noticed a true Clydesdale in the bunch.

She does, doesn't she? I like seeing models that are different from the norm, such as Chloe's model Grace. But Korto's model looks like she was pulled out from a random crowd of people. She seems a bit uncomfortable and out of place.

I believe they do that so you can see the models' true height. It's the same reasoning behind putting them in black slips so you can see their body shape.
