Episode 2 Previews, Poodles!

Model-picking. Not much of a preview.

Damn, Heidi took her bitch pills this week. Nina's all "Girl, tone it down a bit."

  1. Darlings,

We're aware that another site out there posted a screencap of the PR wikipedia page, which supposedly gives away the winners and losers of the first five challenges this season.

We talked it over and we decided we don't want to link to it. Please don't link to it here and please refrain from commenting about it. It will ruin the viewing experience of many of our readers.

  2. Hmmm - the preview is a bit more opaque than usual. From what Keith is making I'm guessing the challenge is an evening gown and the silhouette on the screen when the guest judge is introduced looks a lot like Miss Laura Bennett. I think the twist is that the models buy the fabric. All pure speculation of course…

  3. Blayne can go tonight. Peace OUT cub scout.

  4. I think Stubenville is correct and what delicious fun that will be! Those designers will be sweating their hearts out.

  5. No problem. I will be a good girl. The previews intrigue me, but I think Heidi's judging outfit looks a bit "chip".

When Nina said in the preiview that "shiny, tight and black is the fastest way to look cheap" she meant the designer, or Heidi?

    ReplyDelete
  6. Yup, I think the models will have to go shopping for the fabrics.

  7. God, please send Suede or freaking Blayne home!

    Nice.

That's so funny. I also like Heidi's line about the feathers.

  9. I hope Wesley is top three. He's too cute to go home. Sorry...I can't help it :)

  10. I hope they didn't have to use grass or any crap like that.

  11. Wow, time for another episode. It goes by so quickly.

  12. Can i just say that I HATE this holla-at-yo-boy expression? It's so tacky.

  13. "holla-at-yo-boy"

What does it mean? I'm not American, I'm from Venezuela.

  14. tlo,
thanks for not posting spoilers, i have a thing about that especially when it involves a movie or tv show that i am looking forward to.

  15. isabelle--

I thought it means to either call someone, or acknowledge that someone is around ("Is that my girl? HOLLA!") or as a way to say you're interested in someone. But I have no idea how Blayne is using it. He seems to be just using it as an all-purpose slang.

  16. Are they freaking kidding us by not showing the guest judge? Like it's some big surprise?

    ReplyDelete
  17. holla = holler = shout

    at

    ya = your

    boy = Blayne

shout at me = recognize me, give me props.

= stupid, old 10 years ago

Don't feel bad. I'm American and I don't know what it means either.

Um...no. It's Natalie Portman. Go to Bravo.com for more...

Although I would love to see Laura back.

  26. Is it just me, or does it feel like Bravo is trying to ruin this season of PR? There are so many leaks and the designers are carbon copies of each other. This season feels more like MTV's real world than PR

  27. I keep thinking today is Wednesday. I want it to be Wednesday! I surmise that the models are doing the shopping at Mood or they're going with the designers or something because they're clients again. Think we have another Morganza to keep this interesting?

Nina said, "Shiny, tight, and SHORT," not "black." Black is always in! Heidi would know :-)

"Holla atcha boy" means, "give me a call" or "keep in touch." Blayne is using it wrong.

    ReplyDelete
  29. When Tim uttered the words, "Holla at your boy!" it gave me chills...

Natalie P. is she promoting a movie or something, maybe "the other boylen girl 2"?

    ReplyDelete
  30. Another Suburban Mom, I just came here to type this, but you beat me to it!

"When Nina said in the preiview that "shiny, tight and black is the fastest way to look cheap" she meant the designer, or Heidi?"

Nina should have gestured in Heidi's direction as she said it.

GothamTomato, I would pay good money to see Tim slap Blayne's tan right off of him. Or at least give him the stare-o'-chenille-death that so freaked out various designers in season 2.

  31. TLo, thank you for not posting spoilers. Some of us enjoy the suspense. Class act as always, guys, and we appreciate it!

  32. To TheNYCourier:

You can always count on some dumb jackass of a child to yell across the room who is in the ladies room and what they're doing.

Perhaps next time SAY NOTHING. Some of us don't want to know who the guest judge is!

    ReplyDelete
  33. Did Tim REALLY just say "Holla at yo boy"?! That makes my day.

    ReplyDelete
  34. Jesus, is it really that big a deal, nexstitch? The information is readily available...I hardly think that constitutes you calling me a "dumb jackass of a child". Why not get some goddamn perspective, it's JUST a guest judge.

    ReplyDelete
  35. Heidi bitchy? Why, that's been done. But that doesn't mean it can't be done again. Heh.

    ReplyDelete
  36. "nexstich said: Perhaps next time SAY NOTHING. Some of us don't want to know who the guest judge is!"

Bravo has been broadcasting it in their commercials, so it's no secret.

  37. Shouldn't Suede be dying his hair to match all the outfits he's creating? I don't know. I think I could get sick of the blue in the next episode.

As for feathers! Feathers! Yes, we should all wear feathers tomorrow night whilst watching the show.

    ReplyDelete
  38. WHAT??!! I can't believe that a winners/losers list is out on the net! Do we think....maybe....Bravo.....??????

Well - whatever or whoever the leak is - I'm not checking it out cuz I don't want to ruin it for myself.....it's a shame tho!

Heidi is total bitch face this week - CAN NOT wait =) Blood on the runway for sure!! And did I hear Tim say "holla at your boy!" hahahahahah OH HE IS HILARIOUS!!

How much do I LOVE Nina??? It's impossible to express!! That woman has the BEST comments =)

    ReplyDelete
  39. Yay!
More snark and snipe with both Tim and Heidi!!
GothamTomato-I too predict Tim whackadoodling someone real soon.

To whomever mentioned it seemed more like the Real World-- I think you are right.
I only watched the first 3 seasons of it so I am no expert. Honestly, I swear, only 3.
PR needs some boozy bar visits to create authenticity.
I do believe that this could be the beginning of the end.

  40. Hmmmm. I wonder what makes it "a Project Runway first"...

    - Models buy the "fabric"? (recycled clothes, I think) Or design the dress?

    - Are designers suddenly told to exchange their garment for someone else's and finish & present THAT as their work?

    - Is it a two-part judging where designers have to go back and re-work based on judges' criticism?

    - Or is it just a regular themed team challenge where they particularly viciously trash each other on the runway?

I think this may be one of those judging decisions Tim said we wouldn't like.

  45. Thanks guys for not posting the
    link.
I agree with some that something
is fishy with this season. In the
4 seasons I've been actively watching PR I've never seen them leak so much. That preview is very revealing.
And to have on their site the episode list is disappointing as well.
I think the powers at be are trying to kill it before it leaves Bravo.

    ReplyDelete
  46. Is Betty Page wearing a vagina hat in that 2nd preview?
And one of the models is too!
It's a no feather challenge and one of the designers uses a feather (is it Korto?) oh no!

  47. Did I miss the critique of Jennifer's napkin dress?

    ReplyDelete
  48. The previews are no fun anymore. I think Bravo just gave up.

    Seriously!

The first one is almost entirely them choosing their models! WTF?!?

That's the lamest, most fakey-forced-reality-show bit every episode. And we get the entire scene in a preview.

    Laaaame.

    ReplyDelete
  49. I. Can't. Wait. Boys.

    ReplyDelete
  50. Tim said it and said it right. However, I've never wanted to censor a phrase so much and I haven't even made it to the second episode.
Am I the only one who questions Blayne's posted age? There's no way that leathery piece of heroin-riddled jerky is 23!

O Bravo, I would almost prefer you cancel the show before you sabotage it just because it's moving to Lifetime. Here's to hoping this group of designers makes up for the "leaks".

    ReplyDelete
  51. The guest judge is given away after the preview video so no big secret though I thought that was Laura in the silhouette, also.

I happen to love hearing Tim do the "Holla". It's like watching him do the model walkoff with Christian. It's so totally out of character for him.

    And G.T. pointed out:
"Bravo has been broadcasting it in their commercials, so it's no secret."

While G.T. has a point, the original poster clearly didn't know, so this in essence became a spoiler.

It would have been polite to have NYCCourier say something like, "Spoiler alert: if you don't know who the next judge is, stop reading now".

I haven't been watching the Bravo commercials, because that's what Tivo is for - zipping through commercials!

    Just my two cents.

  53. Am I the only person desperately hoping that Lifetime won't do away with all those backround sounds we are used to hearing every season? The tinkling of the chimes when Heidi comes out for the judging...the "gloom and doom" sounds when the you know what is hitting the fan? I mean that stuff just cracks me up....and they have never NOT used those sounds in an episode...though I miss how Heidi used to say "models this is also a competition for you as well" (redundant) they fixed that on the DVDs.

    ReplyDelete
  54. Some of us aren't listening to the commercials and therefore it's a spoiler. Why is that so hard for some to understand?
