Saw this online this morning and my stomach turned. The thought of her in one of his skinny bitch outfits made me a little ill. Either that or it was too many salty dogs in 100 degree weather on the boat yesterday.

I took an early lunch and happened to catch the end of THE VIEW where PPS was a guest and reviewing designs for Whoopie. I must admit, he was very much on target with capturing "her personal style." Basically, he showed looks very similar to what she's worn to the award shows in the past with the exception of a couple of layered looks with leggings *insert shriek & gasp.*
I know Christian is a whiz on the old singer, but he'd better get crackin' 'cause June 15 is right around the corner and I cannot imagine Whoopie being an easy client to deal with.
It was nice seeing PPS again. He looked cute and has was very professinal with nary a fierce to be heard.

I'm so glad he's doing so well.
She tends to wear dresses with kind of a comic effect to these things, I wonder if that's why she ask him to design her a dress.

ReplyDeleteSo PPS cuts a hole in a velvet bedspread and cinches it here and there. That's what the Whoopster usually wears. He can throw it together in 10 or 15 minutes.

ReplyDeleteWell, you never really know until the last minute. Costume changes at the last minute have happened before --even to very well known designers.
ReplyDeleteA few years ago, Jennifer Hudson wasn't pleased with Andre Leon Talley's choice of a drab Oscar de la Renta gown with a space-zoid metallic bolero. She decided to go with a Roberto Cavalli, but Andre found out and had a fit!
And that's how she ended up in that truly bad ensemble.
Oh, and there was the Jay / Heidi red dress agreement, that didn't come to fruition either.
While this is all good news for Christan, ya never know!
