  2. i know you guys love the breaking news stuff, but couldn't we just keep some of the suspense? one of the things I love is to try to guess what the challenge is gonna be, it sort of kills the thrill of the moment for me when I find out a few days before what's gonna be. I love you guys and read you everyday, and I don't remember you were "spoiling" what the challenges were gonna be before in the previous season. couldn't we keep it like that? or with a spoiler alert? Just a thought!

  3. Ooooooh, flashback to the S1 wedding dress challenge --- pushy, crazy young clients, with some designers able to carefully push back and others getting steamrolled (and auf'ed). Then there were others who by the luck of the draw skated by with easy clients. Who will play the part of Nora this season? Oh and good Lord - who will play the part of Morgan????

  4. rather agree with mommyca... I've never understood why revealing the challenge doesn't count as a spoiler.

  5. I also thought of the S1 wedding dress challenge. But if these prom dress girls are anything like the monsters who appear on 'My Super Sweet 16', then I want to see Christian slap one of them.

I actually hope the dresses are for girls who can't afford prom dresses & are getting a treat.

teen age girl.. sweet pea.. I have a feeling that might be funny.

  8. Christian looks like he needs a hug :-(

  9. DEElish. Cannot wait This makes up for the hole in my heart where PRC once was...

  10. oh thank you guys!!! you're awesome!!!!

  11. OHMYGOD, it's like...Hello? I cannot wait! Totally!

    ReplyDelete
  12. Uncle Nick as guest judge? Or Kaynebow? Wouldn't that be delish?

    ReplyDelete
  13. somehow I think that Christian's getting the Jillian edit of last week -- Everythingisgoingsowrongthereisnowayhewilleversurvivethischallenge!!!!

and then he gets Top 3. Just an educated guess.

As for the rest, I can't yet figure out my Fantasy picks. VictorYA always looks pissy on the runway, win or lose. Ricky is always on the brink of tears, win or lose. Kevin always looks like he's going to kill someone with his bare hands, win or lose. And SweetP looks like she's in the waning stages of a nervous breakdown. Win or lose.

  14. Yes, I knew they were doing prom this time. Cannot wait. You know that Chris will show out. I am sure Christian won't do so good. He doesn't seem the type to make fabulous formal wear. Rami will do good too. VictorYA will bomb this one.

    LOL.

    CANNOT. WAIT!!

  16. mommyca, you can go to TV guide or the electronic listings from your cable provider to see this info. With just a few days to go, this info isn't classified, plus they gave you spoiler warning if you didn't want to read it, you shouldn't have.

    ReplyDelete
  17. I CANNOT WAIT! :D

I KNEW it was going to be teenagers. I just knew it.

    ReplyDelete
  18. Notice how VictorYa wears a slightly gloaty bitch expression on her face?

This will be fun to watch

    ReplyDelete
  19. once i saw the yahoo preview, i knew it had to be prom dresses. this is going to be delicious! princess puffysleeves in a bitch-off with a teenage girl - i can't wait!

looks like sweet p is getting some compliments & cry baby ricky's in the bottom three. but i'm hoping pissy-faced victorya gets the auf.

and an uncle nick/kaynebow guest judge spot would only make this more fabulous.

  20. anonymous 1:52pm,
TLO were super gracious to put the spoiler alert after I posted my comment, asking for that favor, but the original post didn't have it, and have the spoiler right there before the video preview. But they change it because they are fabulous with their readers/followers :-)
and I don't read the cable info or TV guide.

  21. No one cares.

  22. What is that on Victorya-ya's chest in the second preview? Did she have an electrocardiogram during this challenge and forget to remove one of the sensors?

    ReplyDelete
  23. By looking at the previews, I'd say Ricky is gonna be going. His personality has become more low key recently and he was about to cry (for the 99th time) on the runway.
I love Sweet P! But Kevin to win.

    ReplyDelete
  24. Hilarious. Can't wait. But now I'm worried about SissyBear.

To make it easier on dear Chris, I propose a drag queen challenge! Wouldn't that be a riot? I kill me.

    ReplyDelete
  25. Finally some "real" drama. I can't wait!!

    ReplyDelete
  26. Ha! Christian is hilarious! I think the whole idea of prom dresses is pretty stupid. Just pick a pretty dress and wear it. Does it have to be a "prom dress"?

    ReplyDelete
  27. We'll be drowning in a sea of chiffon and tuille.

What kind of high school girls would make poor Ricky cry? Oh never mind, I have seen the kids these days.

    ReplyDelete
  28. Christian with a client who is younger, and potentially cockier and more shallow than he? It's brilliant; it's juxtapositioning Christian with a more concentrated version of Christian. It's like when we met Frasier's brother Niles. I hope this girl gives him hell.

    ReplyDelete
  29. I will cry if the Maryland pocket gay is eliminated. Go Christian! Make Maryland proud!

Funny question. I saw this and thought: "I guess there is no way we could get away with even one episode without Ricky crying!" :rolleyes

    ReplyDelete
  31. my predictions are that victorya claims a badly needed win on her part and regains her judge's pet status while ricky faces his overdue auf'ing.

  32. Was she shot?

    One can only pray

    ReplyDelete
  33. Ooooooh I hope they get a bunch of spoiled east side celebutantes....

    ReplyDelete
  34. I liked it better when Bravo didn't give us so much information before the show. The previews used to give us a lot to guess about. Now they're just giving us too much info.

    ReplyDelete
  35. Yes! With the exception of wedding dresses, bridesmaid dresses and MOB dresses, prom dresses are the fugliest, tackiest things on earth! This is going to be good.

    ReplyDelete
  36. This is going to be fun. I can't wait! Christian cracks me up.

YES!!! Lots of pink and sparkles!!!

  38. Oh, and let's not forget, lots of rose petals.

  39. That's going to be interesting to watch because Christian IS a teenage girl.

    Hooray to that! xD

  41. Having watched the preview for the 3rd time (yes, I know, deeply sick), I'm calling Kevin and Sweet P as the top 2 and Ricky and Vayaya as the bottom 2. Princess Christian is in tears on the runway, so I don't think it's the winner, but they aren't going to let him go home either. I'm guessing just on past history it's Kevin for the win and Ricky for the auf.

  42. LOVE the band name!!!!

I am starting to appreciate the Princess more...
    Poor Princess...

Uh hello? Is someone holding a gun to your head? You can hold off reading this blog until Thursday if it bothers you so much instead of ruining it for everyone else.

  44. Crystal ball time;

Princess Puffysleeves gets criticized for doing pink sparkles (or some such fashion atrocity against mankind) that his petulant brat client demands and Nina lets him have it. Of course Nina will conveniently forget that just two episodes ago (E5 - What's the Skinny) she criticized Puppet Girl for not producing a design more akin to her client's 'look'. Uh hello Nina? It's supposed to be a makeover after a life changing weight loss? Damned if you do, damned if you don't.

  45. Sheesh, more Ricky crying. I really am getting sick of seeing that guy tear up every week! He really needs emotional help and support. Auf him stat Heidi!

  46. Has anyone else noticed that the Preview only shows 5 designers? Sweet P, Ricky, VictorYA, Christian, and Kevin. Usually, they do top three and bottom three. This to me suggests that Kevin, VictorYa, and Sweet P are in the top 3, while Christian, Ricky, and an unknown sixth designer are in the bottom, with the cleverly edited-out designer being the victim of the Auf.

This is a problem, by the way, because Vicko needed to be off this show several months ago. I really dislike her.

Good point, Tony. So where are Jillian, Rami, Kit, and Chris (am I missing anyone)?

From the Yahoo preview, Christian's getting the you-think-he-will-be-loser edit. Hmm.

What is that on Victorya-ya's chest in the second preview? Did she have an electrocardiogram during this challenge and forget to remove one of the sensors?

Rosie's girl, I thought it was a mole at first. Your idea is much funnier.

RIGHT!! I second that. Don't ruin it for everyone else.

  51. Falling leaves could make Ricky cry, so don't question who could do so.

I hope PP goes home, I am so tired of her and her attitude. She really gets on my nerves with her cocky, young fag, attitude. She needs to be taken down a peg or 4. She needs to realize she isn't as fierce as she believes herself to be. I can't stand young queers at that age. You have to get them over 25 before they really get out of it. It's like having teens all over again.

    ReplyDelete
  52. sigh.

i find myself wishing that the designers were given at least one challenge where they simply made beautiful clothes (although I suppose the first episode qualifies, somewhat). so far this season, there’s always been some crazy gimmick, and it would be nice to see what the designers could do, if they had a reasonable budget, could shop at mood, and didn’t have to incorporate all of this weirdness into the clothes.

for example, last season, they only had two episodes where they were forced to use unconventional materials or given strict fabric guidelines (the 1st epi, wall to wall, and the recycling center challenge). for all other challenges, although they each had a unique twist, they still revolved around making a wearable, beautiful garment.

    HILARIOUS!

As a mom of two daughters (both in college now, thankyouverymuchgod) the Prom Dress thing was crazy town!

Have you seen what girls WANT for prom these days? Just google "Prom Dress 2008" for a skankfest of satin. Seriously --- have eye bleach at the ready.

  57. Inspired by profp's comment, I just checked out my old high school fav; Seventeen Magazine. A lot has changed since 1988. No hoop skirts, fingerless lace gloves or hair combs with glued on ribbon flowers. Apparently, gen z likes strapless peach satin. Yawn. VictorYa for the win.
