SOURCES TELL US that a CERTAIN Project Runway alum will be playing the "Tim Gunn" role for at least one episode of the Canadian version of the show. Nothing is confirmed yet kittens, but if it is, you heard it here first!
I think Nick and Emmett would both be great choices--especially considering Nick's teaching background! I love Daniel V, but I don't know if he's experienced enough to pull it off. Plus, I read somewhere recently that Tim listed Emmett as the most successful PR alum to date because of EMc2...it'd make sense to me.

I would love to see Emmett do it. He is such a nice, kind man who would be wonderfully supportive, like Tim Gunn would. However, I think it's Nick Verreos. He is working his 15 minutes like nobody's business! And it's fine, he's a nice guy and would be great at the mentoring role also, being in the education field himself.
Since Nick is a teacher, I'm thinking that he's the natural guess.
But I lurve blind items though (even though I can rarely guess who they are). My all-time favorite?: 'What Olympic gold medalist saves her best performances for downtown S&M clubs?' (I have no idea who it actually is but it screams Katarina Witt, doesn't it?)
I could swear I saw Laura do a 10 second spot on the Style Network yesterday. I was on the phone so I couldn't hear what she was saying but it looked like she was doing a promo for Style, the logo was on the screen with her. But it was so quick I'm not sure.

i know who it is (and I am 100% certain i know who it is). and sorry T & L I didn't hear it from you first, I heard it from the unnamed pr alum in person. i was sworn to secreacy(sp?) due to it not being set in stone yet.

I think Emmett would be great. He's so ... nice. And he has that whole classy vibe going on, and of course he's such a fabulous designer.

So I hope it's Nick or Emmett. Or Daniel V or Laura. I don't think anybody else both had enough personality AND wasn't batshit crazy.
