Women Embracing their Real Qualities. Because we should recognize that every woman can be beautiful if they would only werq with the bodies they have, not the bodies they think they should have (or the media thinks).
Ooh, I like Kelly's and Dr J's. I proffer this one: Witness Evidence of the Right Queens.
That shade of blue is lovely on her. I agree that the shoes aren't right. I'm mostly sad over how grumpy John Slattery looks. I've liked him ever since he guest starred as Will's older brother on Will & Grace years ago.
I've yet to see a pic of Christina at this photocall where she looked comfortable. I'm wondering if it's because she also has jet lag or they had to hold her down to put her in that outfit? Which does look better than anything she might have come up with on her own.
p.s. If you haven't seen it yet, please read and sign my Mad Men petition to get Mad Men back on the air in 2011 (NOT 2012!) We're aiming for 1000 signatures--Please spread it around! Thanks-Therese
The shoes could be better but everything else is perfect. The Mad Men folks must be dressing her because there's no way she would come up with this herself. She looks amazing. Love the color.
The two winners so far are Kelly's "Workin' it even though Regularly Questionable" and Dr. J's "When Everything's Right Quotient." I also like the wit of the staircase's "Wowing Even Rancorous Queens."
Wacky Example of Random Quadribrilation (An act of pure genius) or Wonderful Example of Real Qualiber (the quality and caliber of a job that is done or performed)
Although I also like Economie's, I feel like that's a different category altogether, more akin to Helena Bonham Carter in an IN/OUT post. I feel like WERQing it should be something akin to "Most Improved."
She kills, this is really IN. But since I'm waiting to do my own personal Mad Men marathon someday, I keep picturing her as Mal's wife in Firefly bosom-y rags. I know, can't get past it just yet.
You should pick up a copy of this week's "New York Review of Books" for the train ride to NYC. The cover feature is ostensibly a review of the various seasons of "Mad Men" available on DVD (Season four is coming out in March), but the reviewer turns the focus uncomfortably on the viewer. It is certainly a thought provoking article, especially for us fans in our forties and fifties.
