Season 7 Preview! Pics & Videos! No Fooling!

Here's your Christmas present, kittens.

No matter what; no matter how bad the previous season may have been; no matter how many of us, after a particulary crack-y judges' decision, declare that we are NEVER WATCHING THIS SHOW AGAIN; we still get a little thrill seeing Tim and Heidi on a rooftop with champagne.

These pics are almost completely without context. We'll be getting to the prejudging of each designer over the holiday season, so eventually we'll all have very strong opinions about people we've never met and darlings, isn't that what Christmas is all about? Judging strangers anonymously?

Excuse us Tim, but you probably should stop saying "in the history of Project Runway" so much. Wherever did he get the idea that no designer has ever simply not finished a piece? We can think of a couple right off the top of our heads.

A goody, goody! Thanks for the treat! Merry Christmas, TLo!

Ho ho ho kittens! PR is the gift that keeps on giving!

PR is like my Godfather...just when I think I'm out, it pulllls me back in. :-P Thanks for the pictures, guys!

Thank you, dears. It looks (dare I say it?) good!

I'm seeing some shapes, fabrics and...GASP...COLORS that I feel friendly towards! Yippee!!!

Merry Christmas to all,
Ginger

Yahoo!!
I am rubbing my hands together with glee!

LifeTimeforHomos

The S7 homos are adorable!

LOVE IT!!!

THANK YOU GUYS!!!

Anthony is hilarious : )

YAY!!!!

I am already more excited about this new series than I can say! Just seeing Tim back on home turf makes me squee a little bit. And it looks as though some of these designers have actual talent - yay!

It looks like there are no blonde Stepford Wives in training this season, yay.

Lots of color, thank God.

I have a feeling this is going to be a good season.

SO COOL : P

So true, I lovelovelove this show! Now I feel like watching season 1 again.

CanIGetYouAnything?

Awesome! Thanks, Tlo!

I'm black, gay, and ghetto. LOL. Love her!

Can't. Wait.

Thank you! Looks good... But all the designers look so young!

might be good. i don't see any cartoon characters.

Yay!!! A little early gift for our stockings!
JMB

I see lots of color! Good!

I see lots of actual fabric . . . I really hope there are some funky car part/candy wrapper/paper/plastic challenges this season. At least one, for crying out loud?

Can't wait!

Thanks for the previews! I'm excited now.

As for the last clip, doesn't Tim remember Carmen's shirtless menswear outfit for Tiki Barber? That was the definition of "not finished." Maybe Tim has early Alzheimer's or something.

And I love Mr. "Black Gay in the Ghetto"! He sounds like a sound bite machine. Yeah! Personality!

Has the work room always been pink? That seems new to me. I'm not sure I like it. If it has always been pink, then maybe it's me who has early Alzheimer's.

Excuse us Tim, but you probably should stop saying "in the history of Project Runway" so much. Wherever did he get the idea that no designer has ever simply not finished a piece? We can think of a couple right off the top of our heads
Uh Tim, didn't Mitchell(Michael?) just send a model down the runway last season darn near naked except for pasties and some sheer fabric.

and er how about the one who sent the male model down with no shirt on? Doesn't count? Okay

No matter the show is back and I can't wait to see it again.

Apparently my resolution to be an optimistic kitten is paying off because I am WAY more excited then I thought I'd be.

And I saw COLOR! And PRINTS!! And interesting construction. And is it just me, or is Sir Tim actually GLOWING from being back in NY?!?

This post has made me ridiculously happy for a Tuesday morning.

Let the season seven shenanigans begin!

Suz

Aw, everybody, quit pickin' on Tim. Maybe it looked like the guy was gonna have just a skirt, without a top (or was it the other way around?), which means he wouldn't have been able to send a model down the runway at all. That would indeed be a first.

In spite of that last infuriating season, this bitter kitten is looking forward to S7! Jan. 14 simply cannot arrive fast enough.

BookieBookie

I'm just so happy to see COLOR and a print or two, sigh....so happy.

OMG...what is that I see?

Could it be....

COLOR

in the fabric?

Wow. A definate improvement over S6, lol.

SisterZip

To everyone here at Chez TLo..

Have a very happy holiday!

brandise danesewich

...so excited to be one of the models on season 7 of project runway, (season 2 of MOR), and chairman says "meow"...

C'et moi, c'est moi Lola

Wow TLo, if you had some prizes left over, it might be fun to have a caption contest for those photos out of context.

No matter what people say, I love it when Tim breaks out his own version of 'cut & cry'....

Happy Holidays TLo!

I dunno, that billowy harlequin fabric can not be a good thing... And the dress that glasses guy is making- looks like a Fembot costume.
Can't wait!

ALi - they all look so young?

I had already intended to comment that the guy (I think he was last in the posting of the new cast) with the leather wristband - working on the plaid skirt looks MUCH older than the 38 they say he is.

Carmen (no shirt), Stella a tied on trash bag), the one who sent her model with a bare ass (Zulema?)
are a few that come to mind.

The 1 second shots of the clothes on the runway make me hopefully that we get better than Ari.

Was it really that obvious who the homos were (lol)? Btw: Love your nom de plume!

Thanks for the pics, TLo. This was just what I needed to get the old PR juices flowin'.

Tim probably repressed the former examples of people sending something unfinished down the runway.

So, maybe it'll be interesting this season? It's reasonably promising, at least.

"It is hell being black gay in the ghetto!"
I'm in love.
Anthony, if you're as talented as you are telegenic, I'm setting up your fansite STAT!

Thanks for the sneaky peek, TLo!

wow i did a double take when i saw the guy in the blue tank top...in that shot he is a dead ringer for sunny from project runway canada s2...wonder if he has even a smidge of sunny's talent :)
happy festivus everyone

I'm pretty sure Tim meant "we've never had anyone not finish" as in "we've never had anyone not have anything the model could wear down the runway." Instances like Carmen weren't the same because they still had looks to show, they just didn't finish all the pieces.

ROFLMAO, Sister Zip, that was my very reaction, too! FINALLY some color returns to PR! Perhaps it will be worth watching season 7 after all [grin].

BIG Thanks for the early holiday present, boys!

srq

oh thank GAWD we're seeing the cloudy New York City skyline! I love you, Chrysler Building!

Can't wait to read your dressing-down of the contestants (pun intended) over the holidays!

Carry on!

At least they are back in NYC.

The sight of Tim Gunn in flip-flops rocked my world, but NOT in a good way.

Oooohhhh looks like some designers with some personality! Black Gay Ghetto boy screams like a girl--love it!! And, from the glimpses of the runway, looks like we'll see some interesting pieces. Thank Gawd we're back in New York--we love you!

Will mark my calendar, make some popcorn (to throw at the screen when appropriate) and get the season started!

Separated at Birth: Ben Chmura and Erik per Sullivan (youngest brother on Malcolm in the Middle)?

http://img2.sidereel.com/_icon/8f04.jpg

That pic of Ben in this series totally had me wondering

You kittens forget....whatsisname tried to bring the color by dyeing the yellow neoprene in the potty, remember? All the other designers took note and said, "right, no color!" And there went the season. Can't WAIT for S7 to get going!!

Notice how perfectly the plaid skirt's lines match up! And I hope the Harlequin pattern is a coat . . .

YES!!!!!

I can't believe made the statement about the history of PR not finishing a garment. He should have requested they edit that comment out.

Ben is cute. Thanks, boys!

OK - I'm officially psyched for S7 now. It looks like a more interesting mix of designers, and hooray for color!!!

Yay! Tim Roth has joined the cast!

Now THIS looks like the PR we all know and love! So exited!!

Thanks for the presents Boys!

So far I see a pajama challenge and a clown challenge and teaming up with fake smiles.

Not too promising, but I will undoubtedly watch.

bitchybitchybitchy

Ah, just seeing Sir Tim and hearing him use words such as "recalibrate" makes me smile!

I'm ever hopeful that this season will be great. The previews look promising, but I still need to say STOP USING THAT ANNOUNCER WITH THE MOVIE TRAILER VOICE! PR IS NOT AN ACTION MOVIE!

And yes, I'm shouting. Lifetime seems to be a little hard of hearing.

Is that color I see? And...dare I say...PRINTS?!!?

Huzzah!

Squee! I already love "Black, Gay, in the Ghetto" boy!!!!

But Tim- "never in the history of PR have we had a designer not finish"? Hello - what about Santino's jumpsuit for Kara? Or Vincent's couture challenge? Sorry, glue gunning is not the same as finishing....

I think it's happening!!! We are getting back to the PR we all know and love!!! Thanks for such a great Christmas Gift!!!!!!

i don't wnat to wait.........screaming.

Merry Christmas

HouseMouse: You kittens forget....whatsisname tried to bring the color by dyeing the yellow neoprene in the potty, remember? All the other designers took note and said, "right, no color!" And there went the season. Can't WAIT for S7 to get going!!

Its not that we forgot...there was just so little of it. And Irina's BP show, yikes. Plus just being a bit sarcastic, lol.

SisterZip

Aw, look at that picture of Tim and the Chrysler Building...He's so happy to be back in his natural habitat! No more squinty sun and (shudder) Flip-flops!

While its true that I am excited for the new season, seeing the picture of Tim and Heidi on the roof did not get me excited, for the first time ever. The bad taste in my mouth, left by season six, is far too fresh. The disappoint of season six is to recent for me to be too optimistic about season seven.
And yeah wtf does he mean, no one in the history of project runway has ever sent a garment down unfinished.
CARMEN LIKE THE OPERA WEBER LIKE THE BALLER SEASON FOUR
her man didnt have a shirt!
and there are plenty of instances where garments are finished, but so horrificly executed that they become almost unwearable (ie althea harper getty challenge)

Thank goodness there will be some color in the garments produced. Maybe a challenge should be "AND YOU CAN'T USE BLACK OR WHITE OR GRAY!"

Please, please, PLEASE Black Gay in the Ghetto know how to sew!! We need you to last more than 2 episodes!

I'm usually not big on teases, but this BK is giddy with anticipation at the sight of.....COLOR....and....PRINTS!! And my dapper man Tim! And a Black Gay Ghetto boy! Thanks for the Christmas presents, boys!!

This is so exciting, thank you, Tlo!

" aim said...

YES, do NOT send him home in the first episodes. LOL

YES! YES! YES!

I can't wait for your Nina posts!

"I am stacked, packed and ready to attack." And I, sir, am in LOVE. ;) YAAAAY for the return of the REAL Project Runway!!

S6 disappointed me so that I did not even watch the season finale. Irina just did not do anything for me. Had not given up on PR but had my concerns. Elated to watch this season based on the clips you provided. Seems like there is color, cut, and personality. Plus sorry PR produces the sight of Tim with the great Chrysler building says- PR is home where it belongs. I'm excited for S7

Yes it is and I am totally in the Christmas spirit!

Yay! Thanks, you guys...

Looking good.

Thank you, love yours too. Honey, a homo can "smell" homo : )

I'm so excited!!!!! I can't wait!!!

Thanks God! PR is not the same without New York.

I never thought I'd be so happy seeing color.

This is so cool, thank you guys so much.

Just want to say Merry Christmas, TLO!
You too, dear fellow minions!

XoXoXo
Averill

Yay!!! And it looks like prints and color are back in! I can't wait...

wait? what happened to Los Angeles???

oh i kid, i KID!

Oh yay, another boy with black nail polish.

Herman Munster, anyone?

WHEEEEEEE

PS -- TLo, look who's hangin' on the WH Christmas tree. (ignore the site & its stupid text & commenters, but check out the second ornament.)

"Wherever did he (Tim) get the idea that no designer has ever simply not finished a piece? We can think of a couple right off the top of our heads."

For the drama, darlings. Especially when one is wearing a pink tie that matches the wall behind him.

The previews are so heavily jump-cutted they remind me of the coming attractions of disaster or action movies. Which, who knows, PR 7 just might be.

i'm not dorothy gale

And I must add...THANK YOU, TLo, for sharing this with us. Despite the past season our hearts want our "old" PR back, and having you two along for the ride makes it wonderful no matter what.

Happy holidays to you, and to all of you who keep me laughing with your witty remarks.

Oh dear. One of the contestants has a tattoo on his lower arm that matches his sweater vest. I'm not optimistic.

I was disappointed with last season, especially with the winner, but I can't wait for season 7.

YES! I LOVE LOVE LOVE Project Runway!

I'm thrilled that PR is going back to NYC. The show isn't the same without the Big Apple. Thank you for the photos and videos, Tlo!

YES! YES! YES!

Best gift ever!!!!

I'm purring.

Thanks, TLo! To you and all the fellow minions, bitter kittens, faithful followers, poodles, and all assorted commenters: Merriest of Christmases and Happiest of New Years!

I'm ready. Let's go Lifetime!

HellsKitchenDude

Visibly more international than any other season, that's interesting.

Nice treat, boys!

I think I fell in love all over again.

Wow! Lifetime isn't wasting any time. Cool!

Looks like the PR producers stopped pandering to the Lifetime demographic. If this season ends up being as safe as last season's I'll be sticking with PR Canada.

Hopefully they've gotten the formula down now. It does look like the old show at least in previews and back in NYC! Ah, come let me clutch thee.

I have to agree tho-wtf is Tim thinking about the history of PR and finished garments. Has he forgotten Carmen sending a model down the runway with no shirt? And there have been many other slapdash hasty looks. I don't think that guy is exactly breaking new ground.

Thank you guys!
Sadly, I won't get to watch the premier, because I'll be at a lady gaga concert :-))))

Looks like there is a "clothes off your back challenge..." the first model definitely wearing reworked jeans? Yipee!!

sooo Jesus is on the show! cool hope he does good! He is representing FCC now!

In the second video, did anyone else notice the camouflage gown? I wonder if they borrowed the camo challenge from PR Canada?

Aleishianichole

OMG! I am so excited! This season looks amazing!
