I'm having a slight sense that we may see something really bizarre: Ra'Mon wins and Mitchell goes home DESPITE being on the winning team.

To quote Tim Gunn from an interview:

I really didn't like Irina & Johnny's designs. Not sure why the judges liked it so much.

I suspect there was somebody (or several somebodies) in Qristyl's life who didn't listen to her, told her she was not good enough, etc. and she still hasn't worked through those issues because this team pairing with Epperson seemed to push every single one of her buttons. Granted, he was a bit overbearing, but she essentially just threw up her hands, said "I'm not going to let you run over me" and then stretched herself out on the railroad tracks.

Wow, Vanessa was way over the top. Fatma didn't really need to apologize for much (mostly for being a bit rude) but Vanessa acted like Fatma just sold their country out to an invading army.

Fatma may be a nut, but Vanessa is a drama queen bitch. I think she comes out looking like the villain this time. If someone apologizes, just be gracious and accept it, then move on with your life, even if you don't like her.

However, if I were Kojii, I'd be afraid, because Fatma might cut someone.

Wow, that was a surprising episode! I'm glad they sent Mitchell home - if the edit was even close to the truth, he deserved it. But there was NO WAY those two dresses should have gotten Ra'mon (and Mitchell?) into the top. That neoprene thing was atrocious and the other one was okay but couldn't balance it out at all.

I think the best looks actually ended up in the middle group; it's a shame we barely got to see some of them.

I'm surprised Fatma didn't go home, but I'm glad that Logan didn't pick her. Did anyone else enjoy it immensely when he apparently told someone that her flirting made him uncomfortable? Poor guy.

What I really want to know is...why the hell didn't anybody make surfwear? Do they not understand what surfing IS? And why did the judges not even mention the fact that practically nothing up there had anything to do with surfing?!?

Ra'mon owes Tim BIG TIME for talking him out of that "scuba" suit.

But their first look (olive and blue), was quite a bit like the fabric that Austin used in pink and blue.

Heidi had the lustful look when Althea/Louise's short red dress with the striped bathing suit like top walked by.

All KIND of weird stuff going on tonight! I don't understand judges, designers, or models. My, my, my! But Mitchell definitely needed to go. Anyone who admits they chose someone else as a partner because they wanted to be carried does not deserve to hang around.

Ellen M, I don't think Mitchell hung Ra'mon out to dry. He fully admitted that Ra'mon did all the work. If he were a real bitch, he would have equivocated and cast doubt on Ra'mon's words, making it a he said/he said, and Ra'mon might not have won. Essentially, Mitchell had given up and gave all the credit to Ra'mon. That was decent of him, even if he is a lazy ass and a poor tailor.

So glad Mitchell is gone. He was sweet but boy can't sew. The models didn't want to work with him but seemed to like him as a person.

The other judging was messed up though. I was shocked at Ra'mon's win. I really thought Shirin and Carol Hannah's was cute and that Louise and Althea's should have won.

Can anyone tell me where the bathing suit that Mitchell kept saying he was making, WAS?

How sad that they had prior eliminated the two contestants who might have done the most interesting work on the second part of the challenge. I hope there's another avant-garde challenge this season, because this was seriously lackluster.

Also, Johnny's avant-garde dress looked curiously like a mix of Chris and Christian's avant-garde look with Malan's Miss USA thrown in.

She's so beautiful. I would say it's a toss-up between her and Valerie (also, YAY Valerie), but their looks are so different, I can't compare them.

Funny, after Christian Siriano's much lauded avant garde dress, everyone thinks avant garde means "huge ruffly collar on an evening gown."

Funny in the beginning I thought Epperson was really calm and cool, now he seems to be full of anger and hate. I swear it looked like Epperson wanted to hit Qristal. I don't like both of them now.

Did anyone watch the model show and when Bitchell was aufed the models went "awwwww" and one actually said "He's so talented!" I want whatever that model is smoking for her to think Bitchell is talented.

Speaking of which, other than lack of talent, I thought Bitchell was using drugs on the show. Did you watch his eyes move back and forth and the way he couldn't concentrate and kept touching his hair?

My favorite couple this week is Shirin and Carol Hannah, the spunkiest little tiny designer team ever! So adorable.

Qristyl and Epperson... I do not know WHAT happened because they were the LAST two I would expect drama from.

What a relief that Mitchell is gone but I have a feeling this is the judging that got Tim's panties in a bunch because the winning dress had THE MOST INSANE CROTCH I HAVE EVER SEEN.

One of the posters above commented on how fierce and intense Heidi was in this episode.

I think she looks a bit stricter because it appears she may have had a face tightening and nose narrowing. To me, she doesn't look as "soft" this year.

All I know is that that neoprene mess did not in any way deserve a win. I've seen better looking garments on a horse's back!
I am quickly tiring of most of these designers and the judges. (Where is the Duchess when we need him?).
The only one on the show who seems to have retained his sobriety and sanity is our Tim.

I needed an aspirin trying to keep track of all the WTF moments last night. But I realized 3 things:

3. Models are fickle creatures

I was suprised at both teams at the top, I can't really see a surfer chic wearing a (Johnny's) circle skirt and all the avant- garde dresses were pretty rushed. And it seemed a little like Johnny swiped the marcame' idea from Nicolas.

The neoprine dress has to be the one that Tim was talking about. Both Heidi and guest judge Rachel (?) said they would wear it (double eye roll). Poor Ra'mon did deserve credit for steping up, but a win? No.
I was a little suprised that they sent Mitchell home the male guest judge liked him alot. Guess that wasn't enough to keep him, though.

I really liked Epperson's jungle print sun dress: Much more than the winning dress.
