I agree, she has such a beautiful smile, but she is hit or miss, mostly miss. The dress skirt is shorter on the model and it looks much better above the knee.

OUT. The color washes her out, and the dress does nothing for her, giving her a very boxy shape.

Not really digging it, but the strangest thing is that the model is wearing it with flats. That just looks weird.

The dress really does seem to be fitted poorly, especially around the waist. And she does seem to often err on the side of picking colors that are too light for her. But I have to say, I do think Ms. Messing's post-baby bod continues to look great.

The funny thing is that the back is not that bad.

Is this a modern-day Scarlett O'Hara moment? Did she have to scavenge the balloon shades for a night on the town?

Totally out. Why anybody thinks this woman is a style icon when she consistently looks terrible is beyond me. That color does nothing for her, the fabric looks cheap, and the embellishment is beyond tacky. I won't even comment on the messy silhouette except to say that it doesn't look good on the model either. Donna Karan has sucked for years. I can't believe she's still around.

Why is anyone comparing this to Rachel Zoe? While it is loose-fitted, this dress is not Rachel's oeuvre at all. Just because Ms. Messing is a sometime client does not mean Rachel put her into this, and I'm inclined to believe she did not. Nothing about this dress screams "I DIE," "shuts it down," or "BANANAS."

I for one, love it. Maybe not the hem line, but the color is nice, as are the embellishments. And she looks fab, dress or no dress.

The dress looks awful on the model, too. Poorly made, home-sewn.

What a waste of a slender, tall figure. This dress looks like something that, say Rachel Bilson or Natalie Portman - I guess I'm trying to say petite- would pull off.

As to the dress, there's a decent concept struggling to get out. If it were more fitted, longer, and the fabric were less bulky, I think it could be very nice. But as it is, it just looks like she wrapped a bunch of fabric (albeit an interesting fabric) around herself. (It's not just her, either; it has the same effect on the model.)

Okay, here's my theory. It's this "no hose" trend. If you don't wear hose, the shoe won't slide on as easily, so you get a half- or full-size larger and it's too large.

That dress is about 25 different kinds of wrong. Nothing about it works. Nothing at all.

But honestly, I don't think the shoes are that bad.

I'm going against the grain. I like it. The color could be a little brighter. But I absolutely love the scattered beading and pearls. And the silhouette is good for her too. IN.

From the hipbones up, it's a lovely dress on her, if a little pale. The skirt ruins it. Is that a suggestion of *panniers*!!! in the draping over the hips from the back??? Combined with the least flattering and frumpiest hemline ever invented which in it's greatest executions can at best rate the commendation "cute"! (So sue me. I abhor the bubble skirt and all its modified ilk.)

She's looking beautiful, I am entranced by the fabric, shiny gee gaws and all, but the full effect is OUT.

Good lord. How many other outfits did Rachel Zoe paw through before coming up with this little gem?

Sorry guys, I totally disagree. I love it, the dress, the hair, the shoes. It's a perfect sparkling holiday package for a lovely lady. BTW, I always think she looks better with her hair pulled back than SJP does. It would have enhanced the look to have some cute longer earrings.

What's in is that she appears to have put on a little weight. She needs it.

The dress looks like the packing material stuck via static cling. Little styrofoam balls everywhere.

The peach is good for a redhead. I wish the color were a wee bit richer. I kind of like the shape of this dress on her which surprises me. I like her hair and makeup this time. The shoes, not so much.

On balance, she's in. Just.
