Hey, ya'll! What did I miss?
Since it's so close to Halloween, I'll have a Zombie, pls!

First: Leanne
Last: Jerrell

Has anyone checked Jerrell's MySpace page? In addition to his Janet Jackson video, there's a bumpin' jam playin' called, "Waiting For Your Stare". I think he's the singer, but I'm not sure. Has anyone else heard it? I'd love to see if anyone else thinks that's him.

I just want all of you to know, at the start of this hour, that I don't care how they edit Kenley, at the end of this hour, I will still hate her.

Oh, hell's bells, I've already lost the TLo challenge.

Isn't Korto awesome?

DAMN, DAMN, DAMN, DAMN, DAMN, DAMN, DAMN!

No Bobblehead for me!

Isn't Mama Gunn a riot on that bike?

OK, Tim on a tandem is right up there with turtle poop!

What, no popping bottles on the rooftop!

Tim on a bike. HILARIOUS!

Did Tim say "snatch shot" when he looked at Korto's dress?

=======================

Me neither, honey.

We're going to have to duke it out again next week.

Cute goatee, Miss Jerelldine...

Miss J's sis is gorgeous.

And Moms is beautiful. You see where Miss J gets her looks.

She's not as abrasive and rude when she's not in a competition. I like her personality a little better now.

Half-assed apology.

Oh, please...

No, laura hopalong! Don't look in her eyes! That's just what they want you to do! Look away!!!!!!

Yup. It's season two.

They saw that the drama was diffusing.

ugh...

That's ridiculous! C'mon another fucking dress?

JERELL MUST STAY!!!!!

A freaking Bridesmaid Dress?!

(coughing into hand...'Bulls*t!')

Yay I won!! I'm Laura at 2:35 pm!

OMG How cute was Tim Gunn wearing a bike helmet. I live in Portland and there are lots of bike commuters here. I don't run over a couple of dozen every morning on my way to work. I am glad Leanne took him to Laurelhurst park. It is a great park in NE Portland and is laid out exactly to the same specs as Central Park but much smaller but it is just lovely. We do have the biggest park in a city in the United States, Forest Park. Going back to see what is happening.

will they get help? I can live with this if it buys us a couple minutes of Stella.

There is nothing that is fashion-forward about a bridesmaid's dress no matter whose wedding you're in.

And no, of course not.

shut up, Kenley.

Judy,

The brows, the brows, the brows...

She's channelling Joan Crawford, here.

[waves to the Gooch-O'Banyon's]

Could they be any less thrilled to make a bridesmaid's dress?

(wave back to stubenville)

Jerell's fucked. Barkeep! Another Dr. Pepper...and make it a double!

The extra hoops they are making these poor designers jump through are absolutely bogus. Bogus, bogus, bogus!

Ok, Agnes, I know you won't have a problem with my increased love for Tim.

What a saint!

Awww...he's VEKLEMPT!

Tawk amongst yourselves...

Barkeep! Make it a triple and chase it with a box of Kleenex!

First: Leanne
Last: Kenley

Tim's crying!!!

I'm going to cry.

Jerell is going home, that's so sad...I'm very sad...

Nice performance, Mama Gunn.

FUCKING KENLEY IS WIN! ARGH!!!!

The judges must've liked Kenley's because we didn't hear any abrasive comment from her in the preview.

Jerrell's dress is a mess. I love me some Jerrell, and I like his inventiveness & use of fabrics, but it's sloppy.

I don't think he cares at this point.

Korto's fabric choice is terrible! I can't believe she picked something so close to the wedding dress.

CHC! YOU'RE NOT MAKING SENSE! WHAT IS WRONG? DO YOU NEED ANOTHER DRINK!?

This comment has been removed by the author.

Wtf Kenley, you didn't invent short bridesmaids dresses. In Leanne's case, Tim suggested it, and in Korto he implied she'd need to make a drastic change to make it different from her gown. They just did what they had to do, not copying.

Oh Lord - Jerreldines hairstyles - it's Cindy Who from Whoville!

Ms. Gooch - let me add some bourbon to that Dr. Pepper; I think you're going to need something strong by the time the dust settles...

Korto, noooooooooooo........

I think Kenley as being clinically a narcissist? I'm more down with that than ever.

Well, well, well...its Karalyn!

See???

Oh, Korto....that bridesmaid's dress is not good.

Bourbon? Okey-dokey!

Oh good luck finding a husband, Kenley. BITCHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!

Oh Lord - Mean Girl is in and either Jerell or Korto are out...

This episode was done to get rid of Jerrell. I am so pissed that Kenley is getting to go to Bryant Park. She was on the bottom for the last two crucial challenges, and they couldn't send her home last time? Bullshit.

I can't watch anymore. "This looks just like a dress that another designer just showed, but we liked it then, so we'll give you all the credit. And we like your gynecologist-smock bridesmaid dress as well, because we all know bridesmaids are slutty and this just makes for easy access."

Fuck.This.Show.

Here we go...

I think that's the first time I've heard the judges refer to each other by name during the deliberations. It brings a rather nice personal touch to the whole thing.

Fuck this bull...

Oooh, DVF. Happy place.

And...porno movie ad? Happy place feels violated.

I love me some Miss Jerelldine, but that was BAD.

I mean really, really, really BAD.

It looks like her inability to edit bit her in the ass.

The Boston Globe was right - it's an all girl finale!

I'll be the first to say it: Jerrell was robbed - by Mean Girl.

jerell's out!!!! shit....

As if it's a surprise.

Haha, did they just give Tim's EYEBROW the sound effect of a sword being pulled out?

AHHHHH MORGAN IS BACK NEXT WEEK! LOVE IT!

Oh Ms. Gooch - I think you need another bourbon to get back to your happy place...

I certainly need another drink, or twelve.

The Morganster!

But I don't recall seeing her walk for anybody....

Looks like a return to true form for the Mean Girl.

FUCKING KENLEY IN!!! GREAT JOB BRAVO!!!!!!

Jerell, you're in but we want HER in so we're going to come up with some shitty challenge to kick your as out and keep HER.

CHC, SOMEBODY STOLE ALL YOUR VERBS! LET ME KNOW IF YOU NEED SOME! OR ANOTHER DRINK!!!!

So Korto's "wedding dress" is not in her final collection, at least in the form from tonight. I wonder what she did to fix that.

How does someone grow up to talk like Wizit?

NOOOOOOOOO JERRELL

this is utter ridiculousness. jerrell should be at bryant, NOT kenley. this episode was so clearly contrived to clinch kenley's spot. UGH.
although admittedly his performance this ep was sub-par, kenley should have gone home during the last two shows, at least (especially for that "hiphop" mess she staunchly defended). and even though korto's was not good, she's been consistent.
but JERRELL!!!!!!!!! i can only hope he'll be at bryant watching the shows.

It was a low down, dirty trick to have the designers do the bridesmaid dress, but I enjoyed the show. It beats a demonstration on the wonders of a smoky eye by Collier Strong.

Yeah, the real Kenley comes back next week or so the previews lead us to believe. I really want Korto to win but Leanne looks like she'll be the one.

Can anyone link to the McQueen dress they were talking about? I want to see!

This episode was only notable for the return of Sha-NO-nay. She worked the shit out of Kenley's bridesmaid dress!

complete bullshit, Kenley's was hideous, I actually liked Jerrel's the best (minur the flowers on the head).

Tim was crying because he knew Jerrell was out at that point. Also, he is attracted to Jerrell....there goes the eye candy. Bye Jerrell-Love You!!!

I thought Jerell's was hideous but HE WON THE LAST CHALLENGE. This shouldn't be happening. That is not fair. Send them all to BP if you want HER so much.

HouseMouse said...Can anyone link to the McQueen dress they were talking about? I want to see! 10:12 PM

Me too.

I enjoyed the runway show and agree with the outcome. But the critque of Jerrell and Korto was too harsh. Jerrell's gown was too far over the top, but it had some intresting and lovely details. The bridesmaid gown, while a bit messy was very pretty.
Korto just needed to loose the necklace on the bride. The bridesmaid didn't look bridesmaidy? Isn't that a compliment?
Anyhow, I agree that it was silly to make Jerrell compete for a place at BP when he won the last challenge. His winning garden dress had similar problems to the wedding gown. There should have been no winner in that challenge if this is how they were going to play it.

i'm not dorothy gale

Holy CRAP.

Thus explains the editing with the three designers "shutting out" Kenley on the last episode, her hurt feelings, tears, no family or friends for Tim to meet in NY, then the final "suck THIS" decision to shut out Jerrell.

Yes, I know his dress contained concepts for at least two but come on - I googled "Alexander McQueen feather dress" and came up with something similar to the dress Kenley showed (not similar enough to want to link to, though!)

And I'll leave the lounge with a cup of cold coffee, not knowing whether to drink it or pour it over my achin' head.........

I think the Alexander McQueen dress is from this collection:
http://www.style.com/fashionshows/complete/F2008RTW-AMCQUEEN?viewall=true

Maybe this one in particular?
http://www.style.com/fashionshows/complete/slideshow/F2008RTW-AMCQUEEN?event=show1702&designer=design_house43&trend=&iphoto=34

I just found these from a search. I'm sure Tlo will do more research if it is something else.

I called this after seeing the collections a few weeks ago, but I'm glad they called Kenley on the McQueen dress. I understand about inspiration, but that was too close in my opinion. More like a forever 21 knock off version of the McQueen than something inspired by it.

Here's the link to the two dresses that are closest to Kenley's dress.

Oops that was the wrong link. The REAL Alexander McQueen dress!

When Heidi was talking about Jerell's wedding dress, it struck me that his dress looked just like Heidi's hair.

--GothamTomato

woah. I don't know about anyone else, but the McQueen dress is nearly identical to Kenley's! She's so derivative and she doesn't even realize. She's thinks she's God's gift to fashion. Just wait until Tim Gunn is announced as the fourth judge next week! He hates those weird ropes that she added to some of the dresses.

apologies for the off-topic, and I know Opera is not for everyone...but Wisit (of TopDesign)just blew the doors off with that finale~

What did TLo call him?...The Grand Empress? lol

Hooray! I won a bobblehead! My e-mail is Audra1976@aol.com

9:13 -- yes, he did. I'm still traumatized.

Well, damn. I guessed three times and got it right on the second guess instead of the first. xD

If that doesn't count, oh well, congrats to the winners! :3

That was such a cop-out. Why? Whyyyyy??? And I still have whiplash from last week! Why can't the Project Runway Gods be SANE for once and not give into the dark side of trumped-up drama?

Day-um that was one f'ed up epi. Kind of the f'ed up cherry on top of an f'ed up season.
So -
1. Jarrell won last week and should not have been made to try for a spot he already won.
2. Kenley is called out for a dress that is an embarassingly close copy of a dress seen last season by a well known designer and she was still given a pass? What kind of credibility can the show have with that kind of judging.
3. This last challenge was the exact challenge already used by Project Runway Australia to determine their final three, including the way the Bride's Maid dress was the final twist to what was thought of as the final twist, doing a Wedding Dress.

Please try and argue that the shark has not been jumped. Please. Anyone?

Holy Crap!!!!!!!

Same colors, similar silhouette, same feathers, but Kenleys had an even hem.

That was Fall RTW, Fashion Week in Feb 2008. When were they given their $8,000...say July 2008?

Whoever writes the words that Heidi says (or reads) might want to know that "overworked" and "overwrought" mean the same thing. It is a shame that she is made to appear like a dumb blonde model.

Now that I have that out of the way...has anyone mentioned that Kenley's wedding dress was also reminiscent of Bjork's Oscar swan costume? But it was very nearly an exact copy of the McQueen dress. WTF?

That episode was one hell of a big "LOLWUT".

Poor Jerrell... That WAS garish, but it seems unfair.

"has anyone mentioned that Kenley's wedding dress was also reminiscent of Bjork's Oscar swan costume"

Bingo. I was thinking the exact same thing. Well, it was a more polished swan dress, but it was definitely channeling cuckoo Bjork.

So fucking predictable that I can't even be mad.

Granted, Miss J's dresses were ass, but the simple fact that she won the final challenge and was STILL eliminated...

...for mean girl

...in a copycat dress

...that looked as bad as Marla's

Biggest, most absurd, bullshittiest elimination of all time.

You thought that Austin's ,Uncle Nick's and Kevin's was bad. This took the entire cake and then some.

Just wrong, wrong, wrong.

Fuck Heidi, Michael and Nina. Shameless rating whores, all of them.

There, I said it, and I feel so much better.

They should have 16 more designers compete to become Flavor Flav's booty call and get it over with.

Even if Tugboat Annie wins PR, will she have the same career Jerrel, or the others, will have? I doubt it. First she would have to grow up. Then she would have to take elocution lessons. Then she would actually have to design well and not copy others or the past. Then she would have to listen to someone beside herself in order to sell to customers which would mean taking direction and advice.

I think Kenley and Leanne added their bridesmaid dresses to their BP runway collection.

Kenley definitely did, unless she just made the same dress twice. Same dress, same model.

Leanne appears to have added a little folded sholder shrug over her bridesmaid dress and sent it down the BP runway.

Am I going crazy?

Just re: the Kenley hate. I don't like her. Wish she were gone. Hate is bad, we should all take the high road. Yada yada.

What got me this episode were 2 things: When she said she was "sabotaged" on the runway last week by the other designers... I'm assuming when they answered the question they were asked. Remember when everybody piled on Chloe? She still managed to remain friends with everyone. While she said it hurt, she never claimed "sabotage".

The juxtaposition of this week... Korto... we had to escape the civil war, my father couldn't return lest he be arrested, we had nothing, were on welfare... Jerrell... during the LA riots they burned down the store next door to us... next to last week's Kenley.. I've been fighting my entire life... because my dad was a tugboat captain... hmmmm...

Wisit! My...dar..ling, bee..yoo..tee-lov..ving Wisit!

Kenley's bridesmaid dress was way too short to be appropriate for a wedding.

Oh my gosh, a bridesmaid dress! After last week's gowns, that is SO ironic! Cheri (on the West coast).

You know it's really funny, after hearing that song I was wondering if it was him and I thought it was just me. On MySpace, the "group" that the song is by has a comment from Korto on it saying hi to him, so I think our hunches are right. :)

and this is the right link to his profile:
http://www.myspace.com/jerellscott

I'm sorry, but Jerell blew it, and the judges kind of predicted that he would, so they were smart and avoided another Michael. Can you blame them?

As for Kenley, I looked at the McQueen and see similarities, but isn't everything in fashion just retreads interpreted in your own way? Like evry other creative outlet? Besides that point, her dresses were my favorites an she's been one of my favorites all along. And she was downright amicable in this episode.

So, yeah, I hope Kenley does well and I think she has a chance of taking the prize. I'd be happy with anyone winning at this point actually, because I like them all. And I'm glad we get an all-female final 3. It's about damn time.

So, I'm engaged, and um, about Kenley's bridesmaid dress? Unless Heidi Klum were one of my bridesmaids, I can safely say that I won't be looking for something that shiny, tight or short.

And...MORGAN! I hope they lock her and Kenley in a closet together.

NEVER. WATCHING. AGAIN.

Kenley has never said her life was hard because her father was a tugboat captain and I think it shows how mean spirited so many of you are to keep harping on that. How do you know what her life was or wasn't? Maybe she was abused, maybe she lost people, she never mentions her mother, maybe there's some tragedy there. You don't know what sadness lurks behind the faces of anyone and to keep insisting she couldn't possibly have had troubles shows your shallowness not hers.

I don't feel like we all just watched the same episode. Kenley's bridesmaid dress was FANTASTIC. Her wedding gown was also beautiful, and we've seen EVERY DESIGNER, including everyone's beloved Christian, emulating other designers. At practically every challenge, in fact, the judges referenced Christian's obvious inspirations.

Jerell's wedding dress was so close to his last offering and so close to so much of his work that it makes a person wonder what he has done with his time. His dress wasn't memorable; Kenley's was, as was Leanne.

I wish people would stop crying foul. Kenley may be obnoxious, but girl came out with some spectacular work. And as I've said before, it is hard to remember any item of Jerell's collection, while I remember many of Kenley's pieces.

just because you are obnoxious doesn't mean you aren't a good designer. last year's winner wasn't exactly the king of social skills (remember how he was hostile to someone's mom?) and yet he designed like a dream? i'd rather wear something designed well by a young brat than something designed crappy by a nice person. i'll go to lunch with jerrell and let mean girl design my dress, i hate to say it but it's true. my knee surgeon is an asshole too but my knee certainly doesn't care about that.

art is art. i think mean girl needs to realize that some social skills should be considered if she wants to be successful in a business sense. i'll bet she does, after reading these blogs and getting a couple of years under her belt. go kenley and good luck to you.

and by the way. despite how frustrating project runway has been, i'd take it over and over again compared to the BIGGEST BORE OF THE CENTURY, India Hicks and her Lortab Delivery "We Cannot Live With Your Design" Top Design Show. Oh my holy hell what a snoozer. The judges are from Mars on that show.

I was in New York on business during fashion week. On Saturday, I ran into Kenley in the middle of the street in a crosswalk, literally - I bumped into her. I looked up, said Oh, it's you." She smiled pleasantly and I said "I've really enjoyed your work. I hope that you were one to make it to fashion week and I hope you won." She was so pleasant and kind to me - cars were honking, people were everywhere, and it was clear she was in a hurry. She took the time to thank me in a very genuine way. I'm a chubby middle aged woman who was dressed with NO fashion sense at that moment, btw. I know that K can be hard but at that moment, she was delightful. Just to let someone know.

Yes, every design has been done before. No, that silhouette isn't unusual. Yes, other designers have sent somewhat derivative works down the runway before (notably Kara Saun in Season 1 and PPS last season). However, a very distinctive dress was shown by a major designer only a few months before Kenley's dress. I think if she had referenced something from a few seasons back I would have just chalked it up to being derivative, but the being so similar, so soon after the McQueen show does seem shady to me. (also, at least one other look was very similar to last season's Balenciaga but wasn't as close a copy as the feather dress)

Fuck off, Kenley.
Not only are you a bitch, you're a plagiarist, too.

Thanks, Bravo. Now Kenley has every reason to behave like a 1st class sphincter.
It obviously pays off.
1 single consolation is her collection is obviously several kinds of ass & she'll go down in extremely tacky flames.

Jerell got punk'd.
He won the last challenge, that should have awarded him entrance to Bryant Park.
Sorry, doll. But I know this isn't the last we've seen of your talent.

I always thought I could count on PR to be a meritocracy.
I was wrong (too many times).

I'm actually rooting for Lifetime to win the lawsuit now.
They deserve each other.

Sorry about posting Jerell's MySpace page address incorrectly.

OMG PREVIEWS FOR THE NEXT EPISODE

MORGANZA IS BACK BITCHESSSSS

oh and to be honest if the mcqueen dress showed at SS09 then i don't think kenley would have known. honestly that 'swan princess' vibe isn't THAT groundbreaking - it's conceivable that the idea would pass through more than one brain.

feel free to correct me if i'm wrong.

Kenley's is a better-looking version of the McQueen. And Tim raved about it, and others in her collection. The whole scene with Tim and Kenley was very sweet. Whatever her personality flaws, she earned her spot at BP. Bitch brought it!

Congrats to KJ, Audra1976, Laura, chemkk, Jennifer, Casey Bridgers, and mimi!

And I know it's a sponsor thing, but seeing Tim Gunn driving -- especially a (gasp!) Saturn -- just seems so beneath him. Hasn't he earned at least a Town Car and a driver?

Just had to comment--I showed my friend Project Rungay for the first time tonight and had her read TLo's amazing reunion special. She cracked up about the tugboat thing with Kenley. Then Kenley mentioned her precious tugboat again. We exchanged glances. And laughed our asses off.

Thank you for making the world so much brighter, TLo. Or at least my day.

I get it, I get it. You all have manufactured sound-byte hate for Kenley. Of all the designers, she is the one that represents my style the most. So what if she needs to grow up. She will. AND, she apologized tonight. So suck on that. I love her collection, but I think she could have done a *smidge* more with it. I'm really, really happy that she got to show at BP. Enough with the hate for her. If you don't like her stuff - that's fine. Just critique it for what it is. I think she will go far.

Having said that, I think Leanne will win. Her wavy noodles are well constructed and her collections is more cohesive than the rest. Also, she is damn good.

Thank GOD they called Jerrell out on his bedazzling, embellishing, and over-accessorizing. It was making me dizzy. Edit, girl. You will survive with less. Run everything past Tim before you show it to the world.

*what a surprise*

(((rolling my eyes)))

Although I must say, it was the right call. Kenley wasn't nearly as obnoxious this episode and her dresses were really impressive (although want to see that Alexander McQueen look--hey think I'll google it).

I wonder if all the other designers were there at that Pres. suite as I did note there were more than 4 glasses or coffee cups or something all lined up. hmmmmmm....how far do they take the decoys?

laur amor said...
oh and to be honest if the mcqueen dress showed at SS09 then i don't think kenley would have known.

===========

It was from the fall '08 collection, so it was shown this spring. Though of course Kenley never looks at other designers. Uh right.

That being said, I did like the dress by Kenley, derivative though it clearly was and I like her bridesmaid dress. I just don't see how they would go together. There was no cohesion there for me and in wedding, you usually want a theme of some sort. Or so I always understood.

Loved Leann's dresses, both of them. Glad Noodles is back to form. WTH happened to Korto? This was the second time in a row that her dresses were not hitting the mark. How odd given her previous consistency.

Oh Miz Jerell. On the one hand it was straight up BS that he had to compete at all, on the other hand both of his dresses were badly constructed, designed, styled and had little cohesion between them. So I think the judges made the right decsion on who should go. Jerell could do with some formal training and editing eye. Still love him though.

Is this the McQueen dress she "ripped off"?

http://www.televisioninternet.com/news/pictures/alexander-mcqueen-feather-wedding-dress2.jpg

Ok, I will now confess my obsessive sickness.

I took my tivo, slowed it down to 1/15 speed during the previews and watched it frame by frame not once, not twice, but three times in an attempt to find TLo in the seats at BP.

Does this qualify as stalking?

PS. I didn't find them. :(

Wow. There are people who genuinely hate Kenley, aren't there?

She never seemed downright evil to me. She's rude and obnoxious, but she isn't mean with a vengeance. Or even mean with the purpose of hurting other people. She even helped out a little at least two of her fellow designers that we know of.

That, and I don't understand how folks can hate people they haven't even met that aren't mass murderers, child molesters, etc.

Kenley made top two tonight. That means if it was between her and Korto today, Korto would've been out. We all know the producers weren't going to go for "Here's the three and we're done until BP thing." They were going to go for a catch to manufacture more drama. If Jerrell stayed from the last challenge, Korto would be gone.

OK, I have to admit, the dresses do look similar. Similar, yes...copied, I hardly think so. Inspired by? Quite possibly. I am not a fan of her style, and certainly not a fan of her attitude and personality. However, I have to take a stand when someone accuses another of plagiarism. Check the links here. Side by side there is a difference between the dresses. http://www.style.com/fashionshows/complete/slideshow/F2008RTW-AMCQUEEN/?loop=0&iphoto=33&play=false&cnt=37

http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_FW86_jO7k_A/SMtoKtIuDDI/AAAAAAAAhjM/YcSM0XDJMG0/s1600-h/Kenley_BryantPark_10b.jpg

On the other hand, the whole win lose, here's another challenge crap that Bravo has handed us this season is disheartening at best. Talent and/or abilities aside, they beat the designers down and made it almost impossible to create great work throughout the entire season. As a designer/seamster, I understand the difficulty of sewing for 12 hours straight. I have trouble comprehending doing that for several weeks in a row.

Tom and Lorenzo and the crew here have been the only bright spots in the dismal, grey season.

OK...down off my soap box now...

Fabricman

kenley's wedding dress was fabulous, but i thought the bridesmaid's dress was kinda ugly. It didn't look like a bridesmaid's dress at all, and I don't see how it relates to the wedding dress (other than maybe both having a round/pouffe skirt?). Jerell's had issues, but I didn't think was too bad; I liked the bridesmaid's dress, actually. And I liked the extravagance of the wedding dress's skirt.
something felt fucked up about this whole episode, and I've got a bad taste in my mouth now.

AND: Wisit got sent home so that loser Natalie could stay on and make my eyes bleed with every challenge? bitches, PLEASE.

Having seen the side by side McQueen/Kenley comparisons, the dresses are remarkably similar. However, Kors is right that it did look like Kenley, so while it could be considered design plagiarism I think the dress looked like Kenley had made it and was her aesthetic.

I don't like Kenley, but I've liked many of her designs this season. Imo, she was stronger toward the start of the competition and got progressively weaker. I think this challenge she returned to her strengths.

I'm happy with the judges decision. Jerrel's collection was an abomination. He does too much and in the process shows he doesn't have much taste.

I loved Korto's collection at BP so I think the judges in the end made the correct 3 choices. These ladies had the best 3 collections.

Imo, I think Leanne is going to win, mostly because of Korto's near elimination here. I don't think the judges will forget this misstep, especially with her previous dress not looking too hot.

Leanne's wedding dress was to die for. LOVED it. It really looked like a modern, runway dress.

Finally, McQueen's model is soooooo much skinnier than Kenley's model. Holy crap.

Well, damn. I guessed three times and got it right on the second guess instead of the first. xD

If that doesn't count, oh well, congrats to the winners! :3"

Soooo.....does that mean that I'm in? :-D

I'm still recovering from Wisit's beautiful exit. I'll miss him. Can't wait to see your post on him.

p.s.-It's all in the editing. From the commercials, it looked like there were going to be some more Kenley moments tonight. My pile of sockballs went untouched!

I have to wonder about the previews for the finale in regards to her.

After seeing the collections and knowing she's in the final three, she just might take the competition!

I need to learn to never, ever read these comments after watching PR but *before* watching Top Design.

I haven't watched last night's episode because last week made me so mad I couldn't sleep that night. Glad I didn't watch. The writing was on the wall for Jerrell.

I thought he should have been guaranteed a spot at BP but I guess the judges were too concerned about him putting poo on the runway. Meh.

I was annoyed with Jeffrey won a couple of seasons ago but this season just takes the cake. The producers are manipulating to the point that it is making the entire thing a fucking joke. They are not going to get decent designers. We are going to continue to have Blaynes and Suedes who are safe week after week for the sake of what someone thinks is their "personality." Ugh.

Well, I'm not a Kenley fan but I have to say her wedding dress, similar though it may be to McQueen's, is much more charming. I wouldn't be caught dead in McQueen's, but Kenley's is a delightful fantasy. I think even if she did borrow the idea, at least when she did it she did it right.

(I'd never dare wear it to my wedding though. My brothers enjoy duck hunting and I'd never hear the end of the lame jokes. I can see them sneaking into the reception hall and putting decoys on all the tables.)

People it is not Kenleys fault that the judges or producers chose not to honor the rules/tradition and award a spot at Bryant Park to the winner of the final challenge. I think it was cruel, but the blame should be place on the judges.
I thought is wedding gown was a little too far over the top, but the bodice the judges had problems with was remarkably similar to the bodice of his winning gown in "Nature Calls". So it is understandable that he would return there.Again the judges are at fault, if they had problems with that type of embelishment/fit they should have let him know THEN. I don't see why they didn't just allow all 4 to compete at BP. They already had collections and everything.

Ya know, I'm all for snarky analysis of the designers and their foul-ups... but the Kenley-hate has crossed over from snarky to just plain wanky.

If you're going to hate on Kenley, do it in a way that makes people laugh. See: Tlo's posts. That's snarky. BLOLOLOLOL KENLEY ARE ASS BUTT I NO WATCH SHOW CUZ THEY NO DO WHAT I WANT I SO IMPORTNT VEWER DEMOGAPHIK is not snarky, it's 'Who let the twelve year old play with the computer while mommy wasn't looking?'

I just can't muster up enough anger inside myself to make multiple rage!!!! posts about how much I hate someone I've never met IRL based on their portrayal on reality television.

Although reading these posts, I'm kind of getting the impression that there are quite a few people who would not have been happy with ANY result other than Kenley being auf'ed, even if she'd come with the most amazing, original thing anyone had ever seen on a PR runway.

If you really want someone to be sent home 'fairly', then the result should have been an auf for Korto and an in for Jerell, because she was in the bottom two on the last two challenges, whereas Kenley managed to turn it around. (In the judges opinion. Don't know if I agree yet or not.)

All the cries of 'I'm never watching this again because SOMEONE I DIDN'T LIKE made it to Bryant Park!!!!!' reminds me of the Jeffery-wank two seasons ago, and I wonder how many of the people posting that then are still watching/posting here.

Although I will say that I think Kenley DID know about the McQueen dress, even while denying it, because she said 'There's no silhouette like this.' How could she have known that without seeing the original?

C'est moi, c'est moi Lola

Punching in early here.

You know, it says a lot about the season when the only thing that made me squeeeeal with delight about the last episode is MORGANZA! Bwahahahahaha!

It was also nice to see Shannone rock the runway again too.

As for the outcome: well, we all saw it coming, didn't we? Still sucks, though.

Hmm, has someone else learned that being a total witch on reality tv has its price?

And I hate to admit it, because her behavior was so abominable, but that bitch brought it for the last challenge. Still don't care for her or her collection however.

Leanimal for the win!

On a side note, I fear that Tim is not of this world. Why? NO HELMET HAIR after the ride on the tandem?
Even if he was followed by hair & makeup for the shoot, that is quite a feat....

I think that their respective dresses were Kenley and Alexander McQueen's interpretation of costumes from Swan Lake.

Maybe I haven't had enough coffee this morning, but I'm not particularly surprised or unhappy with last night's outcome. I didn't really expect anything else after this worst of seasons. Though I absolutely adore Jerrell, his wedding dress and bridesmaid dress were really awful. Still, he should have been in the final three on the merits of his win last week.
I thought Korto's wedding dress design was really ugly, and the bridesmaid dress was one that could be bought almost anywhere, though it was cute.
Kenley: Cute wedding dress, cute, but too short bridesmaid dress. The wedding dress looked like a knock off of McQueen, as has been said before.
Leanne...gorgeous wedding gown. I loved it and her bridesmaid dress.
Ok...time to go drain the coffee pot of the last dregs.

Exactly. The silhouette and the use of feathers has been around for a century or more. Neither dress is 100% original. Nothing (that is wearable) is anymore.

Whatever producer shenanigans were at play here were designed to keep Korto in and / or keep Jerell out (or test Jerell further). They had nothing to do with Kenley.
