Wouldn't it be more challenging to play Let's Spot the Straight?? There's a pretty broad spectrum of gay up there.

Jillian.

I already question her judgment. A sweater dress is a fashion must have?? Honey, please.

Anonymous said...

Hmmm, I think they are all gay, except Christian.

All I know is that Rami is hotness.

ROFL. Lots of hotties!! And lots of trouble. I can smell it. Fabulous!

Anonymous said...

My world is collapsing on itself! I actually have met and have friends in common with a designer on PR!

It's Jack, and he's the sweetest.

Anonymous said...

Time to start the show, darlings! Fasten your seatbelts. It's going to be a bumpy ride.

nilvento said...

All the boys and maybe sweet p ;)

Anonymous said...

Awesome! I can't wait!! I read their bios and it looks like they're very talented.

Anonymous said...

Honey, Rami, dear...

Anonymous said...

Oh you shallow people. It's about their talent, NOT their looks (as I drool over Rami, Steven, Jack, Kevin...)

Crow Winters said...

Steven was one of the designers that tired out for S3 and didn't make it! I remember him because I dubbed him the "Creepy One". GREAT.

Ricky = S2's Raymundo. It took me a second to realize it was a different person.

Anonymous said...

VICTORYA ROCKS!!! Guys, she's so cool. I'm rooting for you, girl.

Anonymous said...

I met Steven once at a party. He's a doll. Didn't he try last year?

Anonymous said...

Sweet P looks like Julianne Moore in that picture.

My thoughts, exactly!

I was just thinking the same thing! I was trying to remember the names so I could post them in my comment, and then I just gave up! Are any of the guys straight?

I couldn't tell about the women, but I tend to be notoriously bad at that.

My thinking precisely! And bring them on, babies, anyone who sends their friends here to call you fat will run up against the Wall o' Love we all got for our TLo!

Anonymous said...

NObody better call our gayboys fat!!!

Rami is tre hawtness, I agree.

Anonymous said...

Some of them are already established designers. Why would Bravo do that? There are so many hungry, talented designers out there. Why not give them a chance?

Anonymous said...

Oh, and Rami, you'd be eaten alive here in Germany. LOL.

They are getting publicity and exposure they would never get on their own.

I don't trust anybody who says about themself that they have an adorable sense of whimsy. People like that tend to cross over the line into "precious" waaaaay too frequently.

Maybe they're picking people with established lines (albeit in infancy) so they don't run into the Jay problem again, getting someone with no business sense that makes the program look bad by imploding.

Anne

Anonymous said...

This is gonna be great!

PS -- Just because somebody has named a line for themselves doesn't mean they're not "hungry".

Anonymous said...

PPS -- I just realized... Christian looks just like the roadrunner that chased me off my porch yesterday!

But look at Jeffrey, for example. He had a line (and according to him, many famous clients) before the show and what has he done now? Nothing.

It's interesting to see some of the aufed ones making a name for themselves quicker than the winners.

ROFL.

Jack is HOT. Check out this picture.
Sigh.

I hope we see a lot of fashion, not just drama.

Oh My. I mean OH MY. Perhaps rather than saying "too bad he's gay" I could just say "too bad I'm not an available gay male swimmer in New York?"

I love my husband, I love my husband, I love my husband... (wipe drool from chin)

I think they're all gay, and like the village people each represent a different stereotype. You've got Chris, the velvet-upholstered gay, you've got Christian, trendy emo gay, Jack, Norwich Terrier-sweater gay, Kevin, Folsom st. gay, Marion (MARION!?), Oliver Twist gay (I'm not sure that's a stereotype, but I'd enjoy giving him some more) Rami, Sleazy club gay, Ricky, Sleazy DJ gay, and Steven, who was most recently seen on Sean Cody.

Anonymous said...

Does anyone else think that Simone looks like a tranny in this picture?

LauraK said...

I am so excited about season four. All of the designers are awesome. Let's get going!

Anonymous said...

I think Jack had a really sweet way about him .... his video was really interesting. Sometimes people that handsome are full of themselves but I thought he seemed quite thoughtful. I also think Christian is adorable - great sense of style. I can't wait for the show to start.

Cedar said...

Wow, Sweet P looks about 15 years younger than she actually is. And for whatever reason, I really like her answer for "fashion must have": A dress. Of course!

And Kit looks harsh! I would have guessed she's much older than 26.

Will Simone be the most Angela-esque of the new season?

Cedar said...

I think Christian has anything but a great sense of style. I swear, you could pick up anything in his emsemble from Urban Outfitters (not that Urban Outfitters totally sucks, but they're not exactly cutting edge, sophisicated looks. They're every big trend the season after it appears on runways).

I like Sweet P's style; it's not exactly the most original, but it's cute and it works for her.

Anonymous said...

I love Elisa. She's fabulous!

Anonymous said...

It's nice to see several contestants over the age of 30 participating. Hope they last long.

Anonymous said...

They're way too established to be on the show. I hope they all checked their ego at the door.

Anonymous said...

" PinkPrincess said...

See, I kind of like that. Instead of having a bunch of macaroni art type of designers creating stupid things like Vincent did. I look forward to seeing real fashion, real designs on the show.

Anonymous said...

Oh dear jesus, why do we want clothing from people who can't dress themselves worth a whit? Or style themselves at all? That whole page screams of poseur pseudohipster ego. Ugh.

Anonymous said...

Boys, time to stock up on bitch pills. I can't wait for your posts about S4!

Anonymous said...

THE gay? that's alot of responsibility...being THE gay.

Anonymous said...

I agree all the men seem gay, but I did a little sleuthing and discovered Kevin's myspace page, on which he claims to be straight and in a relationship. He's pretty hot, but his myspace photo is eerily Santino-esque.

All I know is TLo is gonna have a freakin FIELD DAY with this bunch.

And why does all the good stuff happen when I'm at work??

Anonymous said...

I remember Steven from season 3. I like Kevin. Not what I was expecting at all.

Anonymous said...

I think, in general, they all seem fairly interesting. Jack Mackenroth is rediculously handsome....I have a cousin that swims with him and so I saw him at a swim meet - wow. I mean swim meat....if you know what I'm talking about.

Anonymous said...

Oh yea. You guys are fat.

Gail said...

I hope Jack stays around for awhile. He shore is purty to look at!

Cedar said...

The contestant I'm most excited about is Carmen, because of her background in achitecture.

Crow Winters said...

I found Victorya's label's website.

http://nabeny.com/

She likes primary colors. Her simple lines remind me a of chloe, but the color sense is totally different. Like some, hate others.

Jenn said...

Hmm. They all look flaky to me. Maybe its just the cheesy head shots. I do remember Jillian from the auditions (for S3, I think?) and she seemed a little nuts, so maybe this is worth the interminable wait.

Anonymous said...

Rami is gorgeous and a sweet guy. He's also a fantastic designer.

Anonymous said...

Christian is a perky little thing, isn't she? LOVE HER!

Suzanne said...

Where's the crazy?
Where's the mean?
Is season 4 going to be like watching paint dry??
20 bucks says Kit is going home first....*meep*
Betcha Rami is a wolf in sheeps clothing....don't screw with an Israeli- they'll f you up!
Kevin is My People so I automatically have to root for him- he has that normal person, "Ben from Shear Genius" personality too.

Something tells me Carmen is going to be fierce. She studied architecture like Laura. Those people always seem to be so meticulous and that was the thing that always impressed me about Ms Bennett. My best friend is obsessed with how her stuff fit.....like it was SO EXACTLY PERFECT.

It seems like Jack has that Robert Best-ish kind of personality.

I am thinking Chris is going to be the most fun.

Several boring personalities though, or so it seems....I guess we shall see....IF THE DAMN THING EVER AIRS FOR FUCKS SAKE!!

Sewhat? said...

Miranda said...

Based solely on their photos -- I have not watched most of the videos -- I would say that every one of those boys is g-g-g-gay. At least, I hope they are ... I have to get my RDF (that's recommended daily fag) somehow!

Anonymous said...

I can tell I'll love Chris, 'cause he looks like a fabulous sort of guy, and that I'll hate "Sweet P", because she's trying way to hard with the whole name thing.

Anonymous said...

Kevin reminds me of Kevin Johnn from Season 1. What do I win for spotting the straight? Everyone of the other fellas-- Gay. Except Rami who a dead ringer for the owner of Club Persh from South Park.

Emma P.

Totally crushing on Jack, he's every hag's dream gay boyfriend.

Anonymous said...

Just cuz it must be said, sure spot the homo is nice, but how come PRCanada is so ethnically diverse and ours has the token black and asian?

Anonymous said...

they all look gay. And the women (except maybe the last one) all remind me of drag queens.

Anonymous said...

" Anonymous said...

I disagree. There's the latin guy, the asian girl, the black girl, the white ones... What else did you want? An aborigine?

Anonymous said...

Why did Bravo suddenly dump the mother lode of designers on us now? That seems odd, to have rolled out 4 designers individually and then abruptly go en masse. It's almost like they threw up their hands and said, "Oh, screw it, let's just clear out the tape bin now so we don't have to keep track of who we've already introduced."

As for Jack, he's pretty, but so far he's no Robert, Kayne, Nick or Andrae for me. They're beautiful on the inside, too!

Il Bino said...

I think I love me some Kevin! Thank you very much!

Dear Cyndi Lauper,

Honey.

I'd fire your publicist.

GothamTomato said...

There's only ONE gay?? This show has sooooo gone downhill.

Which one's gonna send their friends here? Well we know Sweet P has already started, so that's a natch. And her pal Peanut likely already gave her the 411 on how to do a campaign; sending fake posters to the blogs, to make it seem like they've got supporters. But hopefully the ones who play those games get tossed early.

Looks like she'll be the Alison of this season--world traveler, trendy downtown style, etc.

I am pretty over that style of dress at this point, it's just so DONE.

OK, did anyone else notice that Rami's hometown is listed as Ramallah, Jerusalem instead of Ramallah, Israel? I'm troubled that no one at Bravo seems to understand that Jerusalem and Ramallah two entirely separate cities.

Anonymous said...

I liked Elisa's video. She's hip, trendy; she seems to know what she's talking about. Her video reminded me of Cynthia Rowley and her story about being "discovered" on the subway; this woman approached her and asked about her dress. She sold the dress to the woman and the rest is fashion history.

I’m big fan of Rami Kashou and love his collections. They're always full of rich textures, bright colors and sensuous body-hugging evening gowns.

Victorya's video almost put me to sleep. Kevin is cool. Elisa rocks. Jack is hot. And who comes up with names like "sweet p" or "kit."

I can't wait for season four!! I hate Top Chef, Top Design sucked, TGGTS sucks...I NEED MY PROJECT RUNWAY!

My prediction for the final three includes Kevin, Christian and Victorya. Just a feeling, folks, nothing else.

Anonymous said...

Oh wait, there's also Rami. Final four, then.

Anonymous said...

Some of these designers have already shown their collection at Bryant Park. So, what's in for them? One hundred thousand bucks? I find it hard to believe, don't you think?

Anonymous said...

Christian seems like this season’s Austin Scarlett: flamboyant, way too self-conscious, and probably designs drag-queen clothes for women.

Anonymous said...

I think Christian is so cute and I know from friends that
he has mad talent.

Anonymous said...

Overall, the designers have some great experience. I think this is going to be a good season.

I just think Jack is the sweetest....yes, he is cute but he must be smart and talented ..Berkley and Parsons..???? Okay, and he's handsome. But so is Kevin. YUMMIE.

I still remember Steven humping the bed (or was it the floor?) in his bio video from last year.

Elisa is a great artist and a phenomenal designer. We all love her here in Texas.

Anonymous said...

Seattle loves Jack. You better work boy.

Anonymous said...

Oh...in the http://nabeny.com/

the model for her 08 collection is written Lesley Williams in the 'credit' in the website.

and I think that is the lesley ann williams in Project runway season 2 who modeled for Diana Eng! I look at her awhile and kinda can tell.

She has a new look I think.

Keep your eye out for Rami Kashou! Jerusalem born (NOT BORN IN ISRAEL), grew up as the son of an eclectic and fashionable mother and was often asked by the local town socialites to design their ensembles. With a background of retail, buying and merchandising experience, Rami launched his own line in 2000 and has draped the silhouettes of celebrities and trendsetters such as Lindsay Lohan, Paris Hilton, Jessica Simpson, Jessica Alba, Jennifer Lopez, Portia De Rossi, Fergie, Amy Smart, Lucy Liu, Melanie Brown, Erikah Badu, Tracee Ellis Ross and Shiva Rose. His designs have been seen on the pages of In Style, Flaunt, Angelino, Interview, People and Us Weekly just to name a few. Rami was also asked to design the costumes for the March 2005 America ’s Next Top Model ad campaign which graced billboards across the nation.

HE'S THE BEST!!!!

Yup! I'm curious to see how many flower, garbage challenges they had to go through and how they reacted to them.

I was kind of hoping that the experience level and general raising of the bar meant that we'd get a break from that gimmicky crap. I just hate it.

It's like on Top Chef when they're like, "Come up with something using the items in this vending machine." Why? It was the chicken, onion & potato challenge that separated the wheat from the chaff.

I like the challenges that show the designers' ability to be inspired by normal things, to create something beautiful on a budget, to dress different body types and styles... I lose interest the minute they have to go comb the recycling bin or the loft they're staying in.

From what I know about Rami is that he has a wonderful talent. He is extremely sweet and has mad passion for design.. he is still one tough cookie and takes pride in his work. Also Kit is one of the sweetest and most fun people to be around. She is very creative and grounded. Those two are talanted and are full of iriginality. I wish them both the bes on the show! besides them I am also rooting for Christian.. I have yet to see from him though.

For the record, I don't know if anyone cares, but it would be far more proper to say "Ramallah, Palestine," than either "Ramallah, Jerusalem" or "Ramallah, Israel."

Anonymous said...

I like Rami more every minue he's on screen - he's not only clearly a very decent guy, but he's one of the hottest men on TV right now. (The two go together, certainly)

By the way, someone above asked "What kind of name is Kit?"
It's a not too uncommon nickname for Katherine.
