Uncle Nick and Amanda!

Two of our favorite people! Nick talks about his new line of prom dresses and Amanda models a Nikolaki original.

How fabulous is Amanda? How cute is Nick?

Here's a couple of Nick's prom dress designs for Windsor:

I love nick , but i have to say i was never a huge fan of amanda this season - she just came off contrived and pretentious ......but maybe thats just me

I wish in that interview someone had called Amanda "Amanda" instead of "her." I'm just sayin'. But nice to see them both.

What a funny video! Nick is adorable! You just want to hug him, kiss him, ...

Amanda is fabulous! I think she's a terrifc model. Favorite moment: When she walked for Kaynebow in that fabulous Marilyn Monroe dress.

Oh it's moments like these that fill me with hugs! Nicki! Keep dressing like a 15 year old girl! It's perfect!!!

I have to say, I grew to adore Amanda as a model (albeit little personality quirks, which did make her unique) and wished that Michael chose her instead of Clarissa.

LOL, Uncle Nick, you're such a queen! Did you see him "position" himself in front of Amanda during portions of the interview? Still love him and the adorable dresses for Windsor.

Nick, Nick, Nick. My all time number one favorite PERSON ever to appear on Project Runway (after Tim of course).

I think Amanda is hilarious.

Nick is addicted to FISHTAILS.

Why does he ALWAYS put a FISHTAIL on his dresses. It's boring.

Amanda is fabulous,Nick is cute as ever, and the fashions are boring boring boring

Let's not forget that these are PROM dresses, guys. I think they're simple and elegant. Have you guys ever been to a prom store? It's Kaynebowland!

I buy prom dresses for my daughters and these are gorgeous. Congrats, Nick! Beautiful collection!

Nick is hilarious. He should definitely do more commentary stuff. How about his own show?

I wish someone from the networks would read these comments! I think "Sewing with Uncle Nick" would make a great show!

nick is such a cute, bubbly little boy. i love that DQ swirl he's got on his head. kind of like a fishtail. kind of like his dresses. bubbly boy. charming.

amanda is cute like my little deaf dog betty. goofy, wiggly, cute. wouldn't want to hang out with her, tho, skeers me a little.

Is it just me or does anyone else think that $3000 comment was jab at Santino? I've read a few things from Santino where's he said (in very wierd ways) that's he's designing expensive dresses. Not some project runway cheap dress. I swear I even heard him use the phrase $3000. Be I crazy yay or nay?

Darling the only thing fashion forward about a prom dress is how easily it lifts over the head for the after prom.

Love Uncle Nick!
Amanda's got back!

Love love love this blog!

PS: I agree w/ anon 5:36. Definitely a stab @ Santino. Good! Hate Rasputin! Shut up & sew!

OK everyone lets pitch this idea to Bravo. Andy Cohen, honeybun, are you listening?
Either a half hour recap show before every new episode , commenting on the episode from the week before, starring Tom, Lorenzo, Uncle Nick and Laura... who can forget her gems from last season?
"Pulling craftsmanship out of his ass...."
"Throw the new baby on the pile with the rest....."

OR a Mystery Science Theater 3000-esque type show where the fab four comment throught the episode....Oh My Good God, I don't think I would be able to take it.

Those are fairly generic prom dresses. But, I still love nick. He's fabulous.

I know, I noticed that, too. . . pretty funny. But also, doesn't Nick seem a little uncomfortable during the first part of the interview? Compare it to the end when he's talking about L.A. and two names I don't know; he seems much more focused and confident. During the first part, though, I thought maybe he was a little embarrasssed to be doing prom dresses. I hope that's not the case; hell, in such a competitive field, there's no shame in having a job.

FAB idea!! I love it and would tune in every week.

As far as the dresses go, I wish I had a girl to dress for prom this year. These actually cover stuff up! You should see some of the stuff that passes these days. @@

What was with his repeated head bobs? Nerves, or too much caffeine?

Also loved when the commentator pointed to Amanda's bum, and said "That's a great piece". Or something...

Aw, heck. I'll just go with everyone else, and say they're both adorable. :-)

(I do love "Uncle Nick".)

Hi guys! Loving the feedback.. no matter what you think! :)

Did anyone notice that this is the "Daniel" dress? That's right! The dress he designed for Daniel Vosovic's fashion week collection. ;) It is so comfortable and chic! I believe they are still for sale at Emmett McCarthy's store in New York Emc2.

Nick, you were one of my favorite contestants the season you were on, because I thought you were earnest and real, but those prom dresses are ugly with a capital "F." The fits are bad, the looks are too old, they're just too many shades of wrong. I'm sorry, but they are.
